Quote from: ClubScene13 on May 20, 2026, 05:27:20 PMRoscommon should win this. Tyrone didn't even play well against Armagh in my opinion, they were shocking in the first half, just dragged Armagh down into a dog fight really.

Roscommon on the other hand had a good league and deserving winners against two good teams in Mayo and Galway. Seem to have got good depth in the panel now and playing well for a long time rather than the flash in the pan it's been in previous years. I think they should arrive confident and it would be a blow if this version of Tyrone turn them over, I genuinely expect a Rossie victory on the day

I feel even stronger about this after line ups. Not to be heaping any pressure on the Rossies but they really should be getting over the line here I think they know it too. I'd definitely fancy them with Tyrone's panel - first 15 is good enough to battle well into the game but the team that finishes will be a lot weaker than what starts

Safe travels to all for the game, I'm taking my lads and a friend down today leaving now shortly. Anywhere for a bite to eat and pint relatively close to the ground around midday?

Hopefully an enjoyable game in the sun today, fingers crossed we hang on the coat tails of the flying Rossies.

In the town centre Regan's and Jacksons are good, Hannons on the Athlone road is good also and handy if you plan on heading for the terrace. Safe travels and hopefully we'll be treated to a cracking game

Darragh Cavanan remains out while the very experienced Mattie Donnelly,Kieran McGeary return to the starting team.

Roscommon unchanged from the Connacht final

Two changes for Roscommon

Dáire Cregg,Ruaidhrí Fallon are in for Patrick Gavin,Eoin Ward.

One change for Tyrone

Eoin McElholm for Darren McCurry.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I asked it before but does Jordan have the conditioning to track back?

He was really struggling there and then completely lost the man. Should have been a second goal.

Good start to the game.

Good start. Lucky call on penalty...v easy to be given

Can't see Tyrone being able to live with the pace of this, and that of the Roscommon forwards, for 70 minutes.

DaleCooper

Was gonna say goals are what will decide and theres two from Tyrone. Can see a draw.

Looks warm

If they keep giving Tyrone chances like those 2 goals, you never know.

Very good from Tyrone. Few niggles but that Jordan two pointer was brilliantly worked to beat the buzzer.

Roscommon have lots of good attacking players but not many of the backs would get on the top teams.

True but Roscommon have cut through them with ease on a number of occasions and had better chances. Both Tyrone goals were excellent finishes. Don't think Tyrone have anyone who can live with Henaghan's pace.

Brilliant score before the half from Jordan. Bit of a breeze and Roscommon's 2pt threat in the second half will make it very interesting.

Good, enjoyable game.
