Ps pretty sure Olise eligible for England too. Haaland and Olise would have been decent additions tbh

Olise is English, born and bred. Musiala is another one that got away.

France and Spain are the 2 best sides, but are on the other half of the draw, and have tough games vs Portugal and Morocco, So England only have to beat one of them, and a one-off game can go either way. Bet England at 7-1 at start of tournament, as an emotional hedge

Trump at a press conference taking credit for overturning the red card and specifically that it happened as he made a phone call.

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

They know the kind of vile human being he is, yet they serve him, so some unhinged outpourings would pale into insignificance, wouldn't even raise an eyebrow I'd say

That was a smash and grab victory for England. They had about 5 attacks and because Mexico were so poor at back, they got goals from 3 of them. Mexico are a small but skillful team that somehow thought their best chance of an equalising goal was a cross into box and beating English defenders with a header, while England were bringing on  big lads like Stones to comfortably deal with it. Norway are a stronger physical team. England will struggle against them. I think they go out this coming weekend. The fact they now think they are great after this game only solidifies my belief.

I suppose we shouldn't give this clown the attention but jees this is a hard listen.

Anyway yes England will not find it easy against Norway, they've struggled with similar teams before. Keep the faith lads!

It was every bit the ambush, but executed very well with plenty of control shown ahead of the second half chaos, and then found a way to ride it out

Talk of a tubthumping half time team talk against Croatia and that backs to the wall win in the lions den last night they'll be lifting some serious energy and belief ahead of the next game, Norway were very impressive too and will be equally buoyant

Availability/selection will have a huge say in the QF, if both teams come out to play it could be another cracker, don't see either team sitting back, Norway will try and wrestle control, England will try and overwhelm with power and pace, one not to be missed

"And this referee, who is a little bit suspect—if you check his past. I don't want to say that because I don't like to create controversy, but very suspect. If you'd like, I'll provide you with his past"

A one man Chutzpah machine

Re England. Imagine had they beat Brazil rather than Norway. The delicious hype we could enjoy leading to the inevitable gut wrenching defeat.

Kane v Haaland!

So Trump by saying he spoke with Infantino is implicating FIFA and himself in corruption.  Couldn't make this up.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Any wonder folk lose more and more interest in elite soccer, the corruption and greed just gets more ridiculous while the product deteriates

The man enables genocide without a second thought, fitbaw corruption doesn't even register in his thinking, Belgium should find the biggest platform they have and call them both out publicly as cheats and be done with it

There is every chance they are also vile human beings.
