Dont think I have ever see a game where ref, umpire and linesman mistakes all were to the advantage of one team. Strange

I can see why the umpire got it wrong, it looked initially it hit defenders toe, got it wrong, thought the ref was going to have a sneaky look at the big screen on that one, the mark mistake could be as David described was a free given then impeded, think I missed that one, what was the linesman one?

No he just made a mistake on the mark one, plain and simple. Its at the start of the clip on this tweet.

I don't think I can tell from that clip. There's another angle I saw last night that made it look like his arm started going out for a free kick just before the mark was taken but it was very hard to tell

Then there was definitely a mistake by the referee as there was absolutely no foul before the mark.

I don't think it was a foul but something happens with Mark O'Shea and two of the Tyrone players. So I can't discount that the ref gave a free from something there.

You can never discount the evidence of the invisible infraction   However the ref clearly blew his whistle to acknowledge the clean mark, was watching the play develop, observed the dunt into the back of the Kerry player, blew the whistle again immediately and only then did he  indicate  to bring the ball forward and all to the great approval of the match commentator.

Hardly an invisible infraction.  Marc O Shea is is jostled by two Tyrone players then pulled by one and ends up on the ground, in my opinion not enough for free kick but hard to know what angle the ref has.  You cant see the referee in the picture on the angle on the tv and in the other angle that I referred to earlier you cant really see O'Shea as the referees looks like its starting to go towards the Davinn end goals but its not clear if its for the mark or the free.  Is there another angle to show this clear blow to acknowledge the mark?

Yeah the kerry player stopped to take the free from the mark then was pushed slightly i think in the back.

If you are going to make the mistake and move it forward why didnt he do the same when conn got a high challenge. Even the commentator said surely that will be brought forward.

He gave kerry a 2 pointer and denied tyrone a 2 pointer. Massive difference never mind the phantom 45.

Gaa have spent years messing about with the rules but never addressed the 2 actual big issues- standard of refs and disciplinary process

O'Shea did not stop to take a free, first we get an invisible infraction now the invisible pause   O'Shea got the mark, he would not have seen anything else happening, the first whistle 99.9% for the clearly observed clean mark by O´Shea, not at all likely was it for the much more difficult to ascertain collisions to the side which may or may not have been a foul against a Kerry player. But I'll admit there is a  0.1% chance that the ref ignored all the beauty of the clean catch by O´Shea and blew his whistle for a bit of coming together by players on the side.

Not blowing up for an alleged infraction against Conn  most likely means the ref (rightly or wrongly) didn't think it was a foul.
