Why are they huge favourites?

I assume Seargent is available and a right few of St Mary's Magherafelt MacRory team who are heavily fancied. Unlucky not to win it last year. Maybe they're not favourites tho, I dunno.

Not sure what the standard is like but that Clann Eireann team surely have a good chance.

Most of the main men on that MacRory team aren't from M'felt. As already said, Sargent is Lavey, McBride and Young are Newbridge, McGuckin is Ballinderry and Grant is Greenlough.

Are any of the county champions under 17?

Armagh18

Armagh is u18 anyway.

Should really revert county level back to u18!

#11
Magherafelt through to the final after beating Clann Eireann of Armagh in the semi today 3.10 to 2.6

Other semi on 26th, Four Masters v Fr Rocks Cookstown

Magherafelt won the U16 Paul McGirr Ulster Championship last weekend as well, doing something right up there.

general_lee

Four Masters seem to have a big push at underage as well.
