Great to be in another underage all Ireland final. Our lads didn't click at all up front today and that heavy rain in second half disrupted any good football.

Hard luck to Kildare, your wee lad Reilly is some footballer, one to watch.

Who's the favourites for minors now? Didn't think we'd get this far with a lot of new lads from last years team

Whoever wins between Cork and Derry today would really fancy their chances of being champions.

Is that Derry who Tyrone comfortably beat a couple of weeks back?

Tyrone are in the final and Tyrone are Ulster Champions, Tyrone are the favourites.

Manner of their win against Cavan was name on the trophy type stuff.

Cork has their strongest Minor team since they last won this All-Ireland 7 years ago so will be interesting to see can Derry handle that challenge today.

Cork Minor Manager Keith Ricken certainly talking up his county.

Quote"There's always a great energy to Cork football. It mightn't always translate onto your senior team because it is cyclical, but I do genuinely feel there's a tsunami of Cork football coming again.
"I do genuinely believe that, and it's not because I'm involved with the minors, I just see it. I see the standard of football has gone up. I see the teams in the county, and I see the work they are putting in. I see the strength and conditioning. I see all this stuff being done and people going in the right direction. I see young boys going around, and they're very interested following the teams that are out there at the moment.
"I wouldn't do this if I was the only person that was getting a kick out of this thing. There's a greater cause in this. We genuinely believe in Cork football. There's a good cohort of people there that would have given their time over the last number of years, and they're tight. I've been on every side of it now at this stage, good and bad, and I've always felt that these people had my back."

I thought tyrone had to beat the referee last night too, same as galway. Seems to be the case outside of ulster the ref is always very sore on you. Some of the decisions were baffling.

Great game last night, kildare a very good team, that number 4 was everywhere. Tyrone missing their captain and the 7 last night whos a great player coming off injured could be a big blow. I fancy this cork team to win the whole thing though.

Cork beat Kerry twice (the first time they hammered them) and also hammered Meath in AI Quarter Final. For context that Meath team took Kildare to penalties and Tyrone got it tight last night. Cork definitely look the best team in it on any given form lines if they can get over Derry today

On TG4 player at 4pm.

Half-time
Cork: 0-11 Derry: 2-3

Result Cork: 2-19 Derry: 2-8
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Could save the hassle of the final and hand it to cork now. Serious team, didnt give derry a kick second half, could have been another 20 in it. Tyrone wont get near them

Tyrone were on a different level to Derry in the Ulster final to be honest, the final score flattered Derry hugely.

With Croke Park not option used for U17. Possible All-Ireland final venue on Saturday 4th or Sunday 5th of July.  O'Moore Park Laois or Dr Hyde Park Roscommon?

Cork hurlers play their All Ireland semi final on Saturday 4th July. Not sure if the GAA would even factor that in, they might still just fire the minor football in for the same day a couple of hours earlier

Aaron Boone

O'Moore Park Portlaoise used to the default venue for Ulster teams v Cork/Kerry.

But Newbridge got last year's minor final between Kerry and Tyrone and did a good job. So they will want it again.

Cork looked awesome on Saturday by the way.
