united to cruise the league now, there is noway that they will drop 6 points in 7 games

magpie seanie

I disagree. United could easily drop 6 points before the end of the season with Arsenal and cITEH to play never mind bogey team 'boro. They shouldn't slip up but the form recently hasn't been earth shattering. Chelsea are not out of it either if they win all their games.

Would Ferguson take losing the league to Liverpool to win the Champions League though? He's been saying a lot recently how Man U should have won more in Europe during his tenure - what do you think his preference would be?

i dont think so SAF's main aim when he came to united was to "knock Liverpool off there perch" he can equal there total of league trophys wit a win this year so he wont let that slip. if it had to be Arsenal/Chelsea challenging in the league and we had to play liverpuddle in the champions league semifinal then i think he would go hell for leather for the champions league... All in all fergie is like meself an a lot of other united supporters....................... He hates the F"*&%$N sight of Liverpool!

United fans hate liverpool fans because liverpool still believe theyre the best team in England because of their history.
To let them win the title this year and not equal their league trophies would be shambolic

if liverpool win the league it will show that the standard required to win the league has slipped from recent years. there is no way the current liverpool side has the quality an the chelsea or manu teams from the last 4 years

Absolute horseshit my friend.

For a start the winning tally this season will still probably be within a couple of points of the last few seasons, which rules out your theory straight away.

I would put it more down to the likes of Fulham, West Ham, Villa, Everton, Spurs, Vity (to an extent) all making big strides in recent years and closing the gap between themselves and the top four.

The improvement in liverpool the last 2 months has been unbelievable..I have called them a horrible team and unwatchable a few times on here and at the time that was my honest opinion..but cant say that now

As a Utd fan I have to say I disagree. Take a look at how EPL teams do in CL the last few seasons. Best League in Europe. By the way PL is WAY ahead of CL in my list this year.. Not in the bag yet but 3 points tonight will have it that much closer ;D
