Absolute scum blocking refineries and ports. They can pay themselves on the back all they like for protesting and saying they working with ambulance and fire engines to get through but if they block supplies getting out and tankers landing with deliveries then it's an act against everyone when the pumps run dry. People can't be mobile - carers, food deliveries, doctors. Nurses, etc and everyone else getting to work by choice. They are cutting them off. It's a scummy element at this stage.

Only way out for the government is to announce the packages of support agreed with the hauliers and IFA and say that's what available and throw the ball back at them to pull away. Seems every man and his dog landed today and expected to get a hearing, let them say what they want rather than shouting about collapsing the Dail and handing TDs for treason FFS.

Genuinely whoever is put forward. Purely for the image that they are at least pretending to listen. The narrative now is the government won't engage.

The government will blink soon I hope or this will get very messy. One thing for sure is those men aren't going home without fuel prices coming down.
