I'd never watch a current affairs or political programs on either.
You will miss RTE when it is gone, warts and all. If you aren't worried by a concerted attack on public service broadcasting wherever it exists, that's your lookout.
Public service broadcasting is under pressure everywhere. ITV was valued at £15 billion a few years ago. Now it's valued at £2.5 billion. Talks are with Sky to sell the TV business.
Because people are streaming and getting their news on ticktock.

Indeed. Linehan went from supporting Lordes 2018 boycott of Israel to now shouting down anyone protesting Israel

The hilarious thing is many of those horomones are produced in Israel

The tide is turning on the prosecutions for things said on social media more than anything specific to this topic.
