Quote from: Maghera was Black on May 19, 2026, 02:06:52 PMDerry can promote Derry City and post about Martin O'Neill on their social channels yet not tell their supporters that tickets are on sale for the All Ireland Championship, jesus lads make it make sense! Promote the game ffs

Rogers owes us nothing but it's about time someone needs to call out that he's had a stinker of a year so far very poor by his own standards even being took off during games which has never happened in the past. Glass carried us on his back last year was phenomenal at times but has been a passenger in 2026. Senior players need to stand up and look themselves in the mirror i hope Meenagh has questioned the big players in team meetings since the great collapse against Monaghan. Armagh have ran over the stop of us in 2024 & 2025, its time to challenge the players can they deliver a statement victory.

I'm sure they'll post it soon enough, chill.

Follow links Armagh have posted,or you can search for things yourself online like a big boy!

I've a season ticket so doesn't affect me. Derrys official social accounts decided to advertise tickets on sale 2 1/2 hours after they went on sale with no tickets left for the standing terrace or seated end. That's just not good enough, every man and his dog knows Armagh are the best supported county in the country and that tickets would go fast. The least Derry could do was advertise in advance.

Sounds like you've got some great ideas. There will be an opportunity to stand for this completely voluntary role in December!

Volunteer or not it takes 5 seconds to post a link on social media...not sure how long it takes to knock up tributes to Martin O'Neill and various soccer teams though

New sponsorship for the underage teams. I wonder why Michael Loughran doesn't put his name to anything, he paid for the new gym in Celtic Park most recently

Went to Bellaghy on Sunday for the launch of the book, 'A Bitter Harvest- The good life & unresolved murder of Derry Gaa man Sean Brown' by Garbhan Downey. A strong turn out of support for the Brown family and Bellaghy GAC. Niall Murphy gave an up to date account of the current legal position and next steps. I believe, and maybe naively that the SOS Hilary Benn's father Tony, would turn in his grave at the stalling/impediments his son has placed in the way of getting to the truth and the implications of 25 state agents in a public enquiry. Its truly disgusting & shocking, but sadly not surprising from the Brits.

I also went early to see the game with Bellaghy & Magherafelt, very rarely see any league football in Derry, would go to alot of championship games. I thought the refs in Antrim were poor, but not a patch on this ref. He went out of his way to beat Bellagy or help Magherafelt, I don't know what way to put it. A bad buoy in my view. After that I will not knock another Antrim ref. In saying that both teams put up an entertaining game.

The Dad was a Derry man but if i remember when the younger lads were playing fball (running it now i think) were Tyrone men. LCC a big outfit and bit sponsor of Tyrone in the past. Not sure why they havent had a go at sponsoring team. The county need as many big sponsors as possible. Dublin in their hayday had 10 massive sponsors. I see they sponsor Slaughtneil, as i previously mentioned, a strange one as Lissan a fair bit from Slaughtneil.

There's a few more than that involved.

Newbridge Exile

To be fair to Screen barring Carlus  and a couple of others they had a very young team out last night, we were 3 or 4 up at half time and it stayed in and about that margin for most of the second half until  we hit them a couple of goals in the closing stages

That's interesting. My work colleague from Magherafelt said the ref went out of his way to penalise Bellaghy. When he told me who the ref was I can't say it surprised me and thats not good for a ref when he starts to loose players and supporters respect.

Screen definitely getting it tight. Would Limavady not be in that relegation pot once county players return, would imagine Ballinderry would pick up enough pts when they have all their players.

cccc is a true supporter lol
