A teams full size pitch and 15 a side, B teams 13 a side (15 if both agree) on a shortened pitch between the 21s i just checked

Wildweasel74

Ha, try the old Minor 11 a side. Full pitch. You thought u were Peter Canavan as a forward, while defenders got murdered.

Well he traveled past the turn off for Loup to go to Moneyglass last year so he knows the road!

That would sicken you there now.
Poor performance, we'll have to learn that man to man and kicking the ball will win football matches.

OakLeaf

A team full of good players made to look very average by their style of play. The manager learned nothing from the Donegal game.

Tyrone direct kicked ball early got rewards we never seem to bring teams through at under 20-21 ,should seen it out even though second half was poor

Pretty poor anyway you put it, the style of football, basic errors, lack of directness, lack of power, lack of fight. I could hardly pick out anyone who showed a bit of class on the ball. Fed up watching boys coming out with the ball and throwing passes to the ground.

I honestly think we are playing the old rules, management have to adapt and there was no intention of that.

That was our golden generation of underage footballers and I'm struggling to see any of them starting for the seniors in the next couple of years.

Brendan

That was the prime time for to get that team to win something, u20s will start to tail off again now with the last couple of minor teams nowhere near as strong

JGDoire

Sideways and backwards. Awful stuff !

JoG2

Lesson to be learned, 1 team kicked the ball in and won, 1 team played conservative football at a snails pace and lost

Wildweasel74

At minor, individual good players can get you by, at U20s ,senior club and County senior you need proper tactics and ability to play to the new rules. We running round playing fball u seen 2/3yrs bck. It was awful stuff, scoring 12pts under the existing scoring system.
