Scandalous really considering level of preparation. Ref couldnt even sneak a peak at video replay.

Progress still but bear in mind we got a leggy Kerry, such a great chance to nab Sam...we will rue it unfortunately.

Leggy Kerry but we were missing plenty. They got no kick off the bench. Tho Armagh game more like a training session but maybe more so mentally for them.

Proud of the performance with a few players out there had their chances and other boys ready to take their spots. Mcelholm arriving at senior level now, Cassidy going well. Think Conor Oneill could come straight in next year. Darragh, Ruairi and Mccullagh back.

Con brilliant today

Disappointing but should give the lads on peripherary a good kick to get better. What stage is McGleenan at? God knows a hallion would be handy

Only ourselves to blame. Didn't lay a glove on Kerry on their own kickouts, left a lot of scores on the table and a few silly decisions that allowed the ref to bring the ball up. Can talk about the decisions that went against us but Conn giving up the 50m penalty for a Clifford 2 pointer, not tracking runners off the kickouts and missing that amount of chances did us no favours either.

You have to be near perfect against this Kerry team and we weren't. Still happy with the performance

I don't know if this is supposed to slag Daly, but over the last 2/3 years he has done the most running and unsung work in the team. Everyone would love to score 4 points but not every man will pick up every free man on the break and from there

What insane work? How many times has he finished a game?

The conn foul should not have been moved forward. Tyrone got one and it wasn't move forward

Kerry looked a fitter team even though they played 3 weeks in a row, our players were out on their feet with cramp etc.
Kickouts were really poor across the game.
Kerry there for the taking and still couldn't put them away.

Fitzmaurice said on radio right after game that 'marks' are not brought forward, even he was surprised

The decision to put Cormac Quinn on Clifford, Did Mal not watch what Con did to Quinn in the The club final a few years back.  The decision for Morgan not to hit the wind assisted frees in the first half. We did the same against Armagh and Mayo in the first half. And then the Mc Curry One - If he is fit he plays. Generally some performance from the lads - Con has been in serious form this year..

You add Darragh, Ruairi Mc Cullagh, Conor Devlin as a proper Man to man Marker the picture is only improving.

Maybe Conns shouldn't have been but he gave the ref a decision to make

In reality Tyrone got hammered by Kerry in 2023 and 2025.

Morgan not hitting them frees was oddest decision plus having McCurry on when shooting into Nally. Then Quinn on Clifford.

Massive missed chance for Sam...imagine how exciting it would be with teams left. Almost a vintage championship, Id say Jacko was worried for a time.

I think starting Quinn on Clifford was a shocker from O'Rourke. Morgan should have been on the long frees from the start especially after Mayo. Listening to the McCurry interview on smaller fish it does sound like he'd have struggled with a full game but maybe he should have been on at HT.

Conn definitely our player of the year. Now the challenge for him to back it up again next year. Kennedy does look to be carrying something. Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't play much club football with Derrylaughan.

Hard to know if Mattie has another year in him and McCurry too. They're probably still our 2 most effective forwards.

Aaron Boone

At least we can see progress now in 2026. The League campaign was underwhelming and Ulster was over quickly (maybe a good thing nowadays), but the team played well in the 1 point wins against Roscommon/Mayo. They were unlucky to draw Kerry again, but would fancy their chances against them in 2027/2028.

Conor Devlin been sent off in 3 of the last 5 games of football he's played. Good footballer, but would doubt he has the temperament/discipline for top inter-county football (as things stand)

Think was best chance for a Kerry defeat. Tom Sullivan & O'Shea to still come back in and will use the next game to clear the ring rust.
