Yes we are in transition but 5+ years of this crap is not good enough considering our underage success.

Exactly. Players stopped playing for dooher and looks like they have stopped playing for O'Rourke. Not good enough. Too many soft players in that team. Talk about transition for a long time now but in reality we have really started that process. Get rid of anyone not committed and start actual transition

When is the last time you seen a stirring / strong finish from us in a tight game. A bit of heart and fight. Pride in the jersey.
The current squad look completely characterless.
I think Malachy needs to address strength and conditioning coaching.
Also he lost Chris lawn & didnt replace him. He could do with another wise head in there next season alongside him.

Morgan wasn't selected, then went to the wedding at the same time as the Tyrone game. He needs off loaded, not in it for the greater good anymore. You can be sure it wasn't the Tyrone management that leaked that. Morgan got dropped as he was terrible the first few games, he should have had humility and fight for his place.

The issues with Niall goes back before that. He was on a holiday earlier in the league. Arrived back the night before a game and started anyway despite missing training which I didn't go down well.

Poor kick outs against Kildare, Derry and Cavan led to goals and then he got caught out of position against Louth to be lobbed. Even going back to the Mayo game last year, it was his error before half time that handed Mayo a goal. In spite of his quality his form hasn't been good enough to have complaints about being dropped.

I've got my issues with the management but their handling of the goalkeeper position isn't one of those issues.

There are things happening at the moment that I don't think would be tolerated in any other county squad.

Don't know how true that is but maybe this is a gripe of the current players.

A few of the Tyrone boys spent the last few years throwing stones in the direction of Derry, esp. when Malachy snubbed the Derry job. Life comes at you fast.
