Quote from: Truthsayer on Today at 12:56:12 PMHad the misfortune of going to Tyrone v Cavan in the Ulster Championship last year. Spent the second half in the clubroom drinking coffee with two lads watching it on the big screen. Would have went home only was someone with me. Most boring game at the worst venue. Cavan are dire. Would sooner have stuck needles in my eyes last Sunday than travel to that mismatch in Omagh...
Clare game in 2024 might have been the worst of all time. Horrible game, horrible performance, horrible atmosphere.

I was just comparing last years team v Kerry to this years teams so far in the league.
Hopefully Hampsey and McGeary come back later on in the year and you'd imagine Dazzler will come back into that corner forward position.
Doubt we'll see Peter Harte come back later in the summer but you never know. Would be a great man to bring on to kick two pointers later in games.

1. Niall Morgan      O'Kane
2. Cormac Quinn      Rafferty
3. Padraig Hampsey   Aidan Clarke/Teague
4. Niall Devlin      Joey Clarke
5. Michael McKernan   Conor O'Neill
6. Peter Teague      Rory Brennan/Frank Burns
7. Seanie O'Donnell   Ben Cullen
8. Brian Kennedy   Joe Oguz
9. Conn Kilpatrick   Ben McDonnell
10. Ben McDonnell   K.McGeary
11. Eoin McElholm   Ruairi Canavan
12. Ciaran Daly      Ronan Cassidy
13. Darren McCurry   Ethan Jordan
14. Mattie Donnelly   Lorcan McGarrity
15. Darragh Canavan   Conroy/Bogue/McGleenan

Did I leave anyone obvious out?
I know a lot of people have been giving out about Malachy but in fairness he has brought in a good few new lads and most have done pretty well. Especially last years U20 lads. Playing these new lads in Div 2 was always the best plan, even if that means not getting back up to Div 1.

Winning midfield has become such a huge deal now and I wonder will Malachy try to solve that problem. Is it more about breaking ball that clean catches these days?

I was there too. Left 10 minutes early. Dreadful. Clare were poor and Tyrone an accident waiting to happen. Was like they weren't at it at all.. management was gone soon after.

Is McDonnell still on the panel? Didn't look fully fit last year against Omagh or Trillick

He's still there sitting behind the bench so assume is injured. Fair number of them injured. May see some return v Offaly? This weekend probably not the best game for people to return in
