Tyrone need a new on-field captain then when the coin is tossed.

Has Mickey Harte ever been beaten twice in succession in the Championship by the same opposition manager?

I'm pretty sure when Ricey was substituted against Armagh before half time it was Sean Cavangh that led the team out for the second half. I'd say it's him

Dublin must be licking their lips. Mickey drafts in three players they turned over last year. Sure O'Gara made a mug outta Justin, Penrose lost out to the Hill and Musgy kicked 19 wides.

As far as I remember he kicked 25 wides. In the first half?

Surprised O'Neill and Ricey aren't listed on the panel. I thought with O'Neill's 10 second introduction last week, it was to show supporters he's coming back.

Coney must be disappointed not to be started, but delighted to see Mulligan in the starting 15 minutes. This man's made for Dublin games. A goal into Hill 16?

Don't think so. Could Jim Mc Guinness be the first?

Sure do you mind the second half? Penrose clattered the crossbar 8 times and Paddy Russell and Charlie Redmond ran out of the tunnel and broke Stevey's legs. Of course the umpires seen nothing.

Either him or Pat Gilroy. There's always 'never' too though, there doesn't have to be a first time!  ;)

There's always a first time. Last year - the first time Dublin beat Mickey's Tyrone in the Championship. The first time a game was officiated from the crowd. The first time a side (since Mayo) hit 26 wides in one game.

A good team, I think we will see Gormley and Joe picking up the 2 Brogans with no full time sweeper, Harte, Justy, Jordan & McGuigan will all fill the role at various times.
Hopefully we can keep it tight til half time and then we will see Dooher and Ricey coming in to up the work rate followed by O'Neill and Coney to try to pick off points when the game starts to get ragged.

All the above is concentrating on the Tyrone game. I haven't seen enough of Dublin to know how they will play and that is why I fear them.

Using a boxing analogy: Joe Calzaghe, Rocky Marciano, Mihai Leu, Pichit Sitbangprachan, Sven Ottke, etc., all retired undefeated. No first time for their opponents!  ;)

Is this the 1st time Ricey hasn't started under Harte? (when available).

If so it represents a changing of the guard more so than Dooher not being an automatic starter.

Dooher, Gormley and McMenamin would have been seen as the heartbeat of Tyrone over the past 8 years or so and despite his performances this year I would not be surprised to see him start on Saturday.
