From BBC:

Chris' decision followed a warning from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) chief constable that allowing the procession to go ahead could lead to serious injury, disorder and wider unrest across Northern Ireland.

Surely that was the reason it shouldn't have been given  the  go ahead in the first place?

Now, here we are. Community relations in a worse situation,  faith in policing and PC in the gutter  and a £10m police bill. Madness

But division between protestants & catholics has been brought to the fore and will be used to sway middle of the road voters.

One thing I noticed was  very little reaction from the audience.  It was as if most of them  were FF/FG voters , or didn't understand or  care about  the Garvaghy Road residents. Which  was probably the case

On a side note , one thing that is constantly mentioned is  how would unionists be accommodated /treated in a United Ireland?  A hell of a lot better that Catholics were since  the formation of   the sectarian statelet , that's for F**kin sure.
That a united Ireland is finished based on how "we" were treated is ludicrous. No one ever wanted this. The whole thing a joke based on two Muppet antagonists. Hopefully it is over though have my doubts yet.

I see that they are installing new Ulster Scots street signs.
I don't see the sense in this given that unionism is already represented via the English language. So we need two British languages on street signs?

Also what about Scottish Gaelic? Scots isn't the only language their ancestors spoke. There are plenty of Gaelic surnames among Ulster Protestants. If their ancestors didn't speak Gaelic at the time of the plantations then they sure would have a few generations before in Scotland.
Last week I saw someone wearing a uniform of a Highland dancing club, I would have loved to ask her if they have Gaelic lessons at the dancing club.

All them pipe bands playing gaelic music too.

I see everyone commenting on the 2 muppets etc that started this. let's not forget Buckley was knee deep in it until he realised how bad a look it was to be lead by The legal eagle JB and then slid off like the slimey DUPer her is. Carla is goosed now! The good queen of Ulster (6 counties that is not the 9 obvs)

All the unionists crying out about how they're being discriminated against is a f**king laugh. This is what equal rights look like, you c***ts a just used to favourable treatment and being able to walk over nationalists that equality feels like oppression. Those days are long gone.

Nanderson

Court case adjourned until monday as judge has questioned whether this needed to be heard on an emergency basis

Bryson going the right away about getting himself a statue alongside Arlene for speeding up the Irish Unity process, or pwocess as he calls it.

The entity of  a 6 county Ulster doesn't exist .

She might as well  be the Queen of Mordor. Actually that'd be  more appropriate

Still blame Nolan, this p***k never would never seen the light of day without his help. Does nobody assess Nolan and the breakdown of his guests on the show.

If Jamie causes much more hassle over the next few years, and there was consent between UK/Ireland governments on reunification plans and border poll date then I wouldn't rule out an MI5 "car accident".
