They've had 13 years, or thereabouts, to rebuild Casement & feck all has happened, except to level the old stadium.

There is absolutely no spin that can be put on the forthcoming 2027 Asssembly elections - it's a completely failed executive, with a bunch of completely unknown, faceless nonentities, sitting as backbenchers.

The place is usually empty, when you see the chamber on TV - they don't even bother to turn out nowadays to listen to the drivel that the other side are coming off with.

5 more years of exactly the same ould shite coming up, after May of next year.

The terraces at Casement Park weren't that old, they were built around 1998, before that there were grass mounds.
They were only 6 years older than Hill 16 and 4 years younger than the Clones hill terrace.

They demolished them because they thought they were building a seated stadium and now they are probably just going to have terrace again.

Bunch of amateurs, and throw in an ample amount of 'big talk' as well along the way, with nothing to back it up only farcical photoshoots.
Please use every last penny available to build the best atmospheric stadium for whatever number of seats money will buy these days, and hand it back to Antrim GAA.

That's fine, but why should money from Stormont only go to Antrim? Are each of the 6 counties not entitled to a shake, although not necessarily an equal one.

If it's ever built it'll be a recipe for bad blood - the fall out is inevitable when Ulster GAA lock the gates when there's a fixture clash with an Antrim club game. They can have all the protocols they want, but mark my words it'll inevitably happen.

It'll be a good ground for colleges, Ulster Club etc, just like the Athletic Grounds, but the rightful owners should be Antrim. It was a dreadful move by some individuals in Antrim to hand over the keys, sold a pup, time to put that right.
