By the sounds of things Mayo will be travelling to Longford. Reckon it is a good draw for Mayo to mabye build a bit of confidence to the side, and who knows, even get a run going in the qualifiers!! If we can't beat Longford, then we've seriously fallen behind over the last 2 games!

They could be the first victims on the long road to the third sunday in September.  ;) :D ;D ::)

QuoteDerry will travel to Carlow as both sides were away last year

I hope AARoadwatch are aware of this, it could put stress on the M50.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

don't be so quick to write them off.  Derry lost there in 06 in a cracker, the dubs narrowly beat them there the same year.  Last year future All Ireland champions Kerry went there and could easily have been beaten but for poor finishing, it was a better game than Mayo have given them in the championship in years.

Longford have been an unmitigated disaster this year so far.
Only London and Kilkenny finished below them in the NFL so regrettably the chances of them slaying the rhubarb monster are virtually nil.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Good draw for Mayo though Longford may not be as bad as imagined considering Louth's subsequent performance. All depends on how things are in the L'ford camp and if they are still interested. Still you would think that Mayo will have way too much in the tank regardless of whether game is home or away. Johnno still has some luck left!!!

How do they work that out. they got relegated and beat an antrim team that lay down in the first half and should have had them by the end of it. plus armagh beat derry well but they are at the same price.

could see donegal suprise armagh.  they will be up for it after the way they lost to down

You've just answered your own point. Armagh are at those odds because they have a tough first round qualifier. Derry on the other hand, have a handy one.

and that aside, whilst derry may have been well beat by armagh, would you expect the same result if they met again? There's fcuk all between them all really.

There's probably very little between them. In reality, Derry's odds should be higher than Armagh's as Armagh are more likely to go out in round 1 than Derry.

I'm sure the Blessed Luke Dempsey will be fondly remembering his last experience of Derry in the qualifiers.

Armagh game will be in cross
guys there will only be about 7000 at this match
seriously difficult match for Armagh
Not convinced they'll be allowed to have it in Cross.
Why? Didnt Tyrone have to travel to Drogheda a few years back? I believe there were about 17 at it!

after a quick look at the attendances thread, it seems apparent that many of the armagh masses seem to be falling away in the manner of a derry supporter, at least the derry ones are likely to still be watching club football, maybe not the case with the once mighty orange hordes ;)
