QuoteSatan might be a Mayoman but Roscommon is surely Hell.

Perhaps thats why Mayo has siezed part of it.
It is the other way around.  ::)  Check your history books.  It was Roscommon who seized that part of Mayo in 1899 as per the Local Government Act of 1898.
You should know that the GAA boundaries do not follow todays Council boundaries (otherwise Crossmaglen would not be Armagh, but Newry and Mourne).  The GAA boundry is, and always has been, the boundaries that were in place when the associations began in 1884.  So Ballaghaderreen is, and always will be, under the auspices of the Mayo County Board!  Even while its political administration is Roscommon Council

That was too easy......................

True. Newry and Mourne would be a competitive team for a district though.

By the sounds of things Mayo will be travelling to Longford. Reckon it is a good draw for Mayo to mabye build a bit of confidence to the side, and who knows, even get a run going in the qualifiers!! If we can't beat Longford, then we've seriously fallen behind over the last 2 games!

They could be the first victims on the long road to the third sunday in September.  ;) :D ;D ::)
don't be so quick to write them off.  Derry lost there in 06 in a cracker, the dubs narrowly beat them there the same year.  Last year future All Ireland champions Kerry went there and could easily have been beaten but for poor finishing, it was a better game than Mayo have given them in the championship in years.
sorta hadda go back and throw this out there again.
