Its a clear handball, but a red card was harsh.  As i said he could do very little about it as the ball was struck straight at him. He never moved his hand/arm to stop it.

You need to look at the replay again, he did.

Have to say.  Looking forward to the Down-Tyrone game.  Only have to choose, RTE or BBC2?

This is what Saturdays were made for.

Ghana pretty much have to win this one to get through, they are making hard work of it so far.
Just how many time times has a Ghanian player taken a long shot, ignoring players in a better position?

So many chances in this game it's like indoor soccer  :D
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Catch the high ball

Very entertaining game, thought Rommedhal took his goal very well.

Harry Kewell touched the ball 4 times including the hand ball prior to the sending off. :D

Unlucky but it was a red card.

For the lads in Australia, did ye hear the shite that Graig Foster and Muscat came out with and the other fool on the far right in the studio with Paul Dempsey, it was pathetic!

Could put this on the wtf thread either...

RTE are doing very well for these Finals and for the most part they are pulling off a top professional job for a small station.  Damien Richardson is excellent as a co-commentator. Midfield maestros (friends and once rivals) Ardiles and Brady in the studio today and Darragh Maloney as presenter is a breath of fresh air compared to Bill.
