Look, I think that if the IFA agreed that the NI team would wear green, white and orange shirts, were sponsored by eirigi, played in Crossmaglen, stood to attention to the anthem 'Go on Home British b**tards' by Eire Og, provided half-time entertainment from the Ballymurphy Martyrs Flute Band and each goal was celebrated by the PA system playing "I would rather wear a turban than a sash" (to the tune of 'she'll be coming round the mountain when she comes') then there would still be some on this board that would call them Orange b**tards!

If you want an NI team it should make sense to want a NI anthem imo.

Not a real fan of Danny Boy though it has a strong connection with here, so would be more acceptable. Religion and monarchy shouldnt be lauded whatever it is.

As for the flag - im not uncomfortable with the NI flag as it is NI rather than uk (never understood anyone bringing a UJ for the same reason as the anthem), but I understand that some people dont like it. Not sure what should be done there.
