Pretty impressive alright. Got them at 5/1 before this game to win it out, i'd say odds are slashed now.
Home to Maynooth in qf, should be a handy enough one.

Cant beleive that clown Paudie Hughes was appointed ref of the game between queens and the poly. Both managers could not beleive some of his decisions and once again as i have stated before he has to be star of the show. you would think now after all the bad publicity he gets that he wouldnt be getting appointments for big games. Clown Clown ask any club in armagh ex cross where hes from.

I know a few boys from about Cross that wouldn't have him about the place either. Very poor ref.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

INDIANA

Forgot to add . Johnson broke his elbow yesterday for DCU. Looked nasty. Out for the whole NFL and Sigerson obviously.

He's on my dream team  >:(

Seriosuly though, hope it's not as bad as feared. Had only heard of broken elbow once or twice before, now we have 2 of Ulsters top forwards picking them up inside a few days.

Ok thats good to hear it will be in Breffni pk. Have a couple of mates on the Maynooth team & they were saying last week it would be an away game.

Those were last year's fixtures. I think the point is that, despite also having 'home' advantage in the quarters last year, Jordanstown still ended up in Cavan.

No real surprise that Tommy has come and out and said this.  And to be fair, it's hard to find fault with what he is saying too

Carr: Sigerson timing "ridiculous"

Tommy Carr has labelled the timing of the Sigerson Cup as "ridiculous".

The criticism comes after the Cavan boss was robbed of two key men - Seanie Johnston and captain Ronan Flanagan - due to injuries sustained this week in the inter-varsities championship:

"I'm a former Sigerson player myself but to play it at this time of year is ridiculous.

"We have been denied the players up until now and then they play the Sigerson just a few days before the start of the league."

Johnston has been ruled out for at least the majority of the NFL while Flanagan has a very slim chance of recovering to play some part against Roscommon on Sunday: "He has a severe dead leg. It is about 80% that he will be out for the weekend."

The Sigerson is an absolute joke. Kevin McGourty playing for UCD? Last I heard he was helping organize Fianna Fail in Down. Brian Cullen in DCU? How long has Johnston been at DCU?
