Poor old Murray, it's the same old story for the hapless Brits what with being beaten at their own games, I think it will be the same for the ashes this year although I said that in 05 and it came back to bite me, maybe Andy can get an Italian in to coach him it seems to work wonders for ourselves and the English. Just a thought.

Isn't hindsight great? I don't remember the fact that the USA beat Spain 2-0 changing the fact that the Spanish wer favourites.

I think Roddick is a very likable character and would actually like to see him win the final.  Any time ive seen him interviewed, he comes across as a modest sort of a guy who gives 110% every time he goes out on court.  His 1st serves yesterday where just awesome, power and direction, very difficult to return when a man is n that sort of form with his serves. 

always thought the same myself of Roddick.  one of the commentators said in one of his earlier matches that he was the nicest and most liked player on the circuit.  as much as i would like to see federer win and have the most majors,  i think i'd like roddick to win this one.

He has not been tested because he is on a different level to everyone else, bar Nadal ( who will have a tough time being the same player after his injuries).
