He's not a primadonna. He seems to quietly and methodically go about the business of winning. Beckham in his later career chose marketing and global branding over soccer. Ronaldo is just a cnut -that's an easy answer.

Murray has behaved like a huffy twat most of his career and is only now showing the benefit of some media training. I think it's ironic that although he's made no secret of despising the tossers (ex of Henmania) who queue to support him they still continue to do so in their droves.

If it was after a long rally, a great ace, or an adrenaline puming point with a big dive or something-by all means go apeshit afterwards but on even the shite points, the easy points he's clenching his fist.

Does Tiger clench after every shot?

Plus I am just gonna avoid the whole 'good fist pump' phrase, so many connotations spring to mind!!

Indeed - but I think it's fair to say that Nadal hadn't hit his peak at that stage. He has now (imo), he's no.1, and he beat Fed in the French '08, Wimbledon '08 and Australian '09.

Federer would dearly love to beat Rafa in a major final now, and must have thought Wimbledon was his best chance to do that. But I'm sure he'd settle for Flushing in September!

Elena Baltacha daughter of St Johnstone legend Sergei is playing today.

The British sport minister is questioning the amount of money the brit govt allocates to UK tennis given the poor return on investment they get. In twenty years they have had tiger tim, jezza bates, murray (who was trained in Florida I think), so he has a valid point.

Murray is the only one that looks like the real deal. I think he took himself off to Spain when he was 15 to live and practice there.
