Carrickmore and Omagh will be tasty. Coalisland will be happy should have enough to get through. Eglish and Derrylaughan were kept apart in the intermediate and will fancy their chances (although Urney have been in a fine run of form of late). Local derby in the Junior semi with Stewartstown and Brackaville. Stewartstown and Killyman will fancy their chances there as well. Things are shaping up nicely

Mixed enough feelings about that draw. The other three teams would be lying if they said they didn't want Kildress. Although they'll be hungry and came very close to beating Carmen in the league, they've only beaten three Div 1 teams this year by my reckoning in league and c'ship: Donaghmore, Galbally and Clonoe.

Coalisland will fancy themselves even more now, but despite Carmen's mixed league results there will be no fear going up against Omagh.

Just on the semi final, did Justin McMahon get a straight red card tonight and will he miss the semi? Be a huge miss if he was gone

Carmen Stateside

Going by Paddy Hunter it was a straight red although there were alot of yellow cards in the game.

Wee Roddy

omagh deserved their victory but CCC could be busy which may leave them short more  than justin who will be badly missed

The CCC should take a long hard look at themselves. Everyone in the county knew what was going to happen at the game after appointing Skinno as ref. The two lines men and umpires were some help, a lot of off the ball which they did well to ignore for the full 60min. Would love to see the assessors report for this one. Was hoping for a draw at the end a replay would have been very tasty!

Target Express Tyrone senior football championship Round-up – Sunday 28th August

A goal in either half saw Omagh avenge last years Target Express senior football championship quarter final exit at the hands of Ardboe as they sealed a 2-2 to 0-7 win at Pomeroy over the Loughshore club. Both teams ended with 14 men as Gavin Wylie from Ardboe and Tyrone star Justin McMahon were red carded as injury time approached and tempers flared.

Muzz

Dont see why there would be more suspended than those that got the red cards.  It was handbags mainly.

Was there only Jerome there with his camera.  When the melee started against the wire there seemed to be a lot of fans getting involved.  Wylie was stupid for getting sent off.  Whatever happened in the Omagh dugout between Justy and Mickey Coleman - Justy was stupid to punch him in the kidneys when the ref was looking straight at it.

Gavin Teague took ribs out of Grugan off the ball as well.  Ardboe Number 4 (Sean Teague?) ended up going into the Omagh lads after the whistle too - maniac!  Think a few Ardboe boys went in and fished him out.

Was a hard game but dont think it needed to boil over quite like it did.  County men hard hitting on eachother.  On the night would say that Omagh deserved their win but would need to improve to beat Carmen.
