Great result for Galbally tonight beating Dromore at home by two points.  I am hearing that the Galbally goalie saved a penalty from Colm McCullagh near the end of the game.

I forgot to mention earlier that Sean Cavanagh was Moy's top scorer in the draw against Coalisland.  He kicked six points (3 from play) and was our only scorer in the second half.  Philly Jordan also kicked two good points from play in the first half.

It looks like being an extremely competitive Division 1 this season.  I reckon teams could need at least 12 or 13 points just to stay up!!!

Some very, very interesting results today.  As has been noted by a few posters things seem to be even more competitve this year.  This run of games up to the first round of the championship is always very tough and even more so this year with all teams hitting the ground running.

A good win for the pearses tonight against a Dromore side with five county men playing! There was a penalty saved by the keeper with about 10 mins to go. Its good to get off the mark after a disappointing defeat to the village last week. Dromore are going to miss McCusker up front this year. Bring on Errigal!!

Who played well for galbally or what??

clarshack

wouldnt read too much into our result against gortin. it's the poorest gortin team i've seen in a long time. greencastle will still be favourites for sunday.

Norf Tyrone

The Owen Roes/ Dungannon game was a strange one. 35 minutes in and the scores were level, and very competitive. However Dungannon got one or two in front, and our heads hit the floor. The Clarkes actually led by twelve with minutes left before we goaled twice.

It should've been closer, but at the same time the scoreline flattered us.

Dungannon's number five is an excellent footballer. Blondey haired lad, who ran all fecking night.

Part of the problem for Dromore perhaps, it being so soon after the weekend's exertions.
Carlsberg don't do Gombeenocracies, but by jaysus if they did...
