Apart from Round 1 (5th April), any other provisional dates set for the first few rounds?

An email from a couple of months ago listed the following....

SUN 5 APRIL            Rd 1

TUES 14 April (Easter Tues)   Rd 2

SUN 19 April            Rd 3

SUN 26 APRIL         Rd 4

SUN 3 MAY            Rd 5

Actually, there are a few provisional updates to this.

30 April - 3 May: IFC/JFC Championship (County players only)
Sat 2 May: SFL/JFL R5

7 - 11 May: SFC/JFC (County players only)
Sat 9 May: IFL R5 JFL R6

15/17 May: SFL/IFL R6 JFL R7

23/24 May: SFC/IFC (non county players)
SFL/IFL R7 JFL R8

30 May: League Cup

After this depends on Tyrone except

25-28 June: JFC (non county players)

TEAMS WOULD NEEDA HIT THE GROUND RUNNING THIS YEAR THEN WITH MAYBE ONLY 4 LEAGUE GAMES BEFORE THE CHAMPIONSHIP.HOPEFULLY IT WILL MEAN THE FOOTBALL WOULDNT DRAG ON INTO NOVEMBER DECEMBER LIKE OTHER YEARS
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

This is probably the wrong thread but didnt want to start a new one on main board about Tyrone. Was thinking after the recent league game v Dublin that there's been some great days this decade supporting Tyrone after decades of under achievement. Would anyone like to have a go at the 5 games they enjoyed most in the decade? I'd go with this:
1) Tyrone Armagh  05 Semi
2) Tyrone Kerry     05 Final
3) Tyrone Down     03 Ulster Final draw (the emergence of never say die attitude)
4) Tyrone Dublin    05 Qtr Final Replay
5) Tyrone Dublin    08 Qtr Final

There has been some other great matches and results but in terms of enjoyment this is my top five. Other games that come to mind are 01 v Armagh, 03 v Kerry, 03 v Armagh, 04 v Galway (league semi's by 2), 05 Dublin Drawn game, V Donegal 07 ulster semi, 2 floodlight games with Dublin, v Kerry 08 final.

What about the games in 02 with Armagh or Ulster Final 05?

Definitely the most important game for Tyrone was 2002 against Sligo without it nothing might have happened since.

Most enjoyable games, not games which had an impact on the team TYP ;)

1) 2003 - Tyrone -v- Kerry AISF
2) 2005 - Tyrone -v- Kerry AIF
3) 2008 - Tyrone -v- Dublin AIQF
4) 2003 - Tyrone -v- Armagh AIF
5) 2005 - Tyrone -v- Dublin AIQF Replay

I like that selection, but I'll replace 5 with the drawn game. Actually I will have to replace 4, because I certainly did not enjoy that game, I was in bits. I'll put the 2005 Armagh semi in there

TYP the Ulster Final '05 was like a First Communion party compared to the AISF of the same year. The intensity of that match was
unbelievable. It could have swung either way & but for a strange decision or two from the Armagh management towards the end,
Armagh could well have had their 2nd holy grail.

Was was deciding between the Dublin AIQF and the replay, and opted for the replay.

The final for me in 2003, was fantastic. The excitement before and during the game was unreal, plus the euphoria afterwards was something else. Them feelings have only been bettered once in my life.

I don't know.

Mickey Harte came in after this and from then we had our good run.

It has to be down to his influence what happened thereafter.

The Sligo game had nothing to do with it IMHO !!!

Probably exactly as you've quoted. However, the games when Tyrone were at their exhilarating best were a joy. V Fermanagh, Derry replay and Down replay in 03. v Derry, Laois, Monaghan in 04. v Cavan replay in 05
