the goal was on

Who manages carmen? Could be a long thread! But Rory G and wee mc Hugh doing the majority. Rory on the sideline instead of in the stand would have made for better crack though.

Carmen get what they deserve after bringing in RG and digging him a tunnel for him to secretly train with them. Good enough for them. Lough gonna rub even more salt on their wounds when they become the first team to go back to back since them. As someone said couldn't happen to a better bunch

Quote from: White Goodman on September 24, 2026, 09:29:55 PMFair play to donaghmore, have finally grown a set. If fergal logan manages to win a championship he will go down as one of the best managers in tyrone history.

The arrogance of carrickmore is baffling. How do they think they are even close to being contenders when they have that for a keeper and are still bringing on a 44 year old?

Delighted penrose wont ever win a championship with his adopted/sugar daddy club.

Paying into each game and just about fitting through the turnstiles must feel great when your typing hate on your phone. Give some respect to a legend of the game who gave so much to this county. Sad sad guy, definitely obese.

Seen a lot of sour old messages in this tonight wouldn't be too hard to guess where some r from. Donaghmore good performance and definitely will put in a push but I think some people in this thing should maybe get off the keyboard and maybe get training themselves. You know who your are

Capknee

I take it the BeraghBadger is a Carmen fella going by his posts.  Hasn't been seen since October last year I see.
Donaghmore will take some beating.  Would like to see a Donaghmore Lough final but I think Errigal have men coming back at the perfect time and can see them beating Lough.  For the Carmen's folks sake I just hope they don't have to host that semi!

Puckoon

Hate to say it Gabriel - might be time to close the door on this thread. Once a place for real time updates and a useful source for connection to the club scene - but this drivel is as inane as it is insidious.

Aaron Boone

It has to be root and branch now for Carrickmore. Not just a review of what happened on the pitch last night, but a review of the club top to bottom and come to a conclusion why the Holy Grail has not been reached since 2005. If it needs an outside expert to do this, then money should be no object.

Carrickmore's worst performance in as long as I can remember. They were heading for the gate with 15 to go.

Lot of soul searching after that especially with being able to get to a final avoiding Loughmacrory, Dungannon, Trillick, Killyclogher and Errigal Ciaran.

Donaghmore were really impressive and will take a lot of confidence from that performance and result.

Beragh badger, a bit hypocritical there about typing hate into a phone? You've hurt my fat feelings.

If you actually read the post without your Carmen tears blurring the view, I took aim at carickmore being deluded, not the player.

But ultimately yes, I struggle to have respect for mercenaries that ditched their club for a chance of glory and a site. The same applies to his 'clubmate' barking nonense on the line who has retired from club football but is still miraculously able to tog out on a saturday for dergview.

It must be sickening for folk from aghyaran. Im sure they are also delighted Carmen were pumped.

WesternBaller

Naomh Eoghan v Rock
Cookstown v Pomeroy
Donaghmore v Edendork
Errigal Ciaran v Loughmacrory

All remaining games are 50/50 to me, no clear favourites.
I wouldn't write off the rock, nothing to lose and are well capable of smashing the 2 pointers over NEs compact defence.

Pomeroy surely the clear favorite in intermediate? Cant see them getting stopped

Cookstown will have them this weekend

As an aside, Carricckmore looked a much better team with Dinky managing them. Not sure why, they were much more of an attacking proposition just 12 months ago without Fullerton even.

Don't have the scoring threat to win a championship currently. Once you shut down Fullerton and McGarrity from play, there's next to no threat. Doggedness and championship experience / tradition will only get you so far.

Topoftheworld

I know when a team is being beat well it always looks this way, but they looked way off it in terms of conditioning, pace, power and athleticism. Maybe Donaghmore were just way ahead in these departments

The Omagh_Ostrich

Jesus was at the game last night and standing beside the Carrickmore ones and never heard as much nonsense in my life. once the rain started were crying why the game didn't start earlier as they have to play second half in the thunder plump while Donaghmore had dry conditions first half then too top it off saying Carmen are a fair weather team and should be trying to vote Kerr back into chairman to move the Championship to summer so they had better chance winning. Glad there out so don't have to hear there ridiculous spectators anymore
