Quote from: CastledergCowboy on August 19, 2026, 04:58:21 PMCan't help but think there's a bias against us north Tyrone clubs when it comes to championship fixtures, majority of fixtures given to them east Tyrone hallions the county board should make more use of great facilties in the likes of strabane a great surface and boasts an excellent club bar for some post game refreshments, Killyman and errigal thirds double on Friday night nonetheless

Talking about hosting games in the North of Tyrone for their "great surface & excellent club bar" is the exact reason why North Tyrone football is in the gutter. North Tyrone Pilot Programme should be based on learning to fly planes instead of football. Waste of time and money, give the money to Donaghmore and Tyrone will keep winning U-20 all Irelands.

Baffled as to why a good surface is not a reason to play a match somewhere I believe it's pretty important and strabanes surface is as smooth as a baby's bottom as for a good club bar it's hard to bate a few pints after watching the likes of Castlederg put on a clinic, there's enough money in Donaghmore never worry about them posh boys
You've read one Aodhan Harkin article and think that North Tyrone clubs are the best facilities in Tyrone. Strabane doesn't even have a stand...

In fairness the only club facilities most north Tyrone people have Seen outside north Tyrone is the likes of kilyman, Derrytresk and brocagh.

Edendork vs Ardboe - Ardboe by 1

Carrickmore vs Dromore - Carmen by 4

Trillick vs Galbally - I think we will make a game of it but Trillick should still get over the line by a point or 2.

Omagh vs Moortown - despite their poor league performance Omagh will take it by 3 or 4 points.

Loughmacrory vs Dungannon - Dungannon won't be as poor as the league table suggests but still fancy lough to win by 4.

Donaghmore vs Eglish - would fancy eglish with Ethan Jordan but if he's apparently injured then donaghmore should edge it.

Coalisland vs Clonoe - Clonoe to be too strong for their neighbours.

Cappagh vs Errigal - this all depends on whether Errigal can get the likes of darragh canavan, oguz and O'Donnell back fit in time. If they can then they should win it but without them boys you'd have to edge it to cappagh.

Had an interesting question yesterday... would  Fintona if in Intermediate this year potentially win it? Are they the strongest junior team we've had in Tyrone since the AI series was available to the Junior grade?

Can we think of any stronger?

Miles better than the Clogher team that made the final last year, Fintona seem to be a great team all round, not relying on indivdual briliiance to scrape them past games.

Maybe we are all talking too soon, could get knocked out by Eskra tomorrow  8)

Topoftheworld

I dont think they will win the Tyrone junior championship this year never mind intermediate. Tattyreagh my bet if Darcy Harkin Murray all play

Edendork vs Ardboe- Edendork by 6, Dazzler.
Carrickmore vs Dromore- Dromore after a replay.
Trillick vs Galbally- Trillick with relative ease, Galbally played their championship final last weekend against Donaghmore.
Omagh vs Moortown- All set to be a classic easily tie of the round, Omagh by 1.
Lough vs Dungannon- Dungannon for me by 5+ can see them pulling away to continue the back to back drought.
Donaghmore vs Eglish- Another classic to decide who will be put out in the quarter final I'll go Eglish by less than 3.
Coalisland vs Clonoe- Draw first game, Clonoe to do enough second time around.
KC vs Errigal- Alchemist vs Roe, McGinns vs Canavans, KC by 3.

Should be a good game, A local Derby! Sure isnt that wat the championship is about? Im backing fintona by 4 or 5personally. Eskra looked impressive last week. Could be tough to get up for two big games back to back however, especially for the older contingent in the group.

Brocagh an extremely picturesque field looking over the lough, also a great bar in the castlebay for post game refreshments
