Let Gortin enjoy their day mystic meg

So according to you its better to concede a fixture instead of giving a few lads a chance to play on their senior team many making their debuts?

Debut or not, getting beat by 27 points while scoring 1 point doesn't do anyone involved any good in my opinion but each to their own.

Gortin must be given credit for reaching Senior status.Well run club with limited enough numbers.

Totally agree, where is the learning and or experience in getting walloped by 20+ points?

Gortin were without a doubt the longest serving club in Intermediate football. Anyone know how many years they have been in Intermediate? Every other club in division 2 have all played either senior or junior football in recent years, it would be interesting to know who would now be the longest serving intermediate club with gortin now in senior?

I'd guess Aghyaran. Just throwing it out there. Open to correction.

Could be right, I feel like Owen roes and clogher mightn't be far off either.

With Drumquin last playing Intermediate in 2007 and getting recently promoted, Gortin last played Senior (Division 1B) in 2007 and have been Intermediate every year since until now. Wonder what connections can be made with the next division up and 2007?

Gortin and Moy seem to be a fix, hurson giving free from 50+ yards... fair play to them though coming from 7 points last year to winning the league this year.

Beragh beating cookstown no suprise, cookstown few men missing but always fancied them. Fancy cookstown to beat clogher at home always a hard place to go the way they play 🤮

Naomh eoghan putting some form together aswell, not a betting man but fancy them tipping moy without Conroy in championship, they'll be atleast 6/1 worth a punt.

Owen Roes won Division 3 in 2017, Clogher won same in 2018, Newtownstewart won Junior championship in 2018, Beragh won promotion playoff in 2018, Aghyaran lost relegation playoff in 2018. Owen Roes the longest serving Intermediate team atm.

That would be an interesting table for Div 1 also. Some teams there since time began.

Be interesting to see junior as well. Drumquin were there a long time before getting promoted this season. The likes of Brocagh and Glenelly have been there for a lifetime.
