Can't find any online match reports on the Cookstown game?, usually Team Talk would have one.
Thought Cookstown getting relegated to Junior would have made bigger news than it has? as i think the last time they played Junior was in 1978.

Big set back for Cookstown to be relegated to Division 3 for 2020.

Was at the game yesterday. Fair play to Newtown they were the hungrier side and deserved their victory.

Them v Killeeshil next week a massive tie for both.

Cookstown decline suits a lot of people - but not good for Tyrone  football to have big population like this in junior.
Any Tyrone team that was successful in recent years always had one or two players supplied by them, including a few All Ireland winners and captains at minor / u21 level
This has stopped in recent years so not great for Tyrone football overall.

As someone said earlier, there won't be too many sad to see Cookstown go down. Something about them over recent times leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Talk of infighting tells its own story. Poor squad at the minute and no real sparks of hope at underage so may well find themselves down there for a wee bit. Kildress can attest that it's not an easy division to get out of once you go down.

Was Mugsy not with Fulham Irish this year. Wonder was he registered with them as a player as well as manager? If so, surely would have needed a transfer back to come on to Cookstown?

They lost, who cares. Bigger story if he had've dragged them over the line

Is it not a bit disrespectful to all other Junior clubs for people to be saying "glad to see Cookstown down to junior" as if its the worst thing in the world. Some clubs have no choice due to numbers etc.... but Cookstown did turn alot of people against them with their antics a few years back

Cookstown maybe appeal that they fielded an unregistered player and seek a replay  ;D ;D

They've been at worse

Yes, Tyrone Intermediate and Junior are very strong as has been proven in the Provincial and All-Ireland series over the years. Even if a team drops to Junior they won't be facing any Dog and Duck or Pot Bellied Pig type teams.

Sad to see Cookstown going down. Definitely not good for Tyrone football.

Them and Kildress will meet again in 2020. Im surprised that its in Division 3

When you make a statement like that you really should have the balls to publish your own club name.

The same player spent a bit of time in the USA this year before returning to make a few subtitute appearances in the Championship.
Posted a photo of a recent unfavourable result for the Lough!!

Has the Fixtures committee outlined any possible dates for the U21 semi finals? It is obviously Galbally's ulster run which is holding it up (and rightly so) but surely they can give the other 3 teams a rough indication as to when the games could be played as the intermediate ulster final is fixed for the 30th Nov to my knowledge.  The first fixture took place on the 26th Jan this year and there is nothing to say it could be Jan 2020 before the competition is wrapped up.... something not right there
