Re: Enda

I was chatting to one of the county men a couple weeks ago and Enda came into the conversation when I mentioned he was below par and when I questioned if he was fit the reply was he had a number of niggling injuries and once one mended he picked up another slight knock.  Suppose he just couldnt get a run at 100% and has obviously made the correct decision because he is more valuable in August-September than February-March

Tyrone need him back at 100% again remember 2008 and his couple points a game from midfield?

Congratulations to Holy Trinity on their win yesterday. A good year for Cookstown.

They're still there, click the fixtures and results icon on the main page and scroll to the bottom of it and all of yesterdays results are there. If you click on the group in question then it'll give you the tables.

Tyrone was useless again at the weekend. Mickey harte again siding with his FAVOURITE players. Was so disappointed making the long journey down to Galway to see what can only be called the biggest pile of rubbish ever witnessed!
Im Sick of the sight of Ciaran Gourley! Cathal McCarren was one of Tyrones top performers against Cork marking one of the best forwards in Ireland and doesnt get a start the next day.
serious Questions has to be asked of Harte. his team selection in recent weeks has been awful and theres massive rift on between players/managment behind the scenes. if your telling me that current panel of players isnt good enough to stay in Division One i dont know anymore then!

Is this 'rift' you speak of,  fact or speculation?

the goal was on

Its difficult to know sometimes where hartes thinking is coming from. Everyone in tyrone would have know gourlay was gonna take a roasting. By starting him they contributed to being reduced to 14 men near the end. Its been clear for a long while davy is a poor defender who needs massive protection and it was encouraging to see him finally removed yesterday. Worryingly though some of our other defenders look a few yards short. We have no out and out man markers anymore. I think we're still paying for the brutal training the players undertook last year when they were run into the ground. When ever we are mssing a few players we can never get results which suggets mickey is'nt the great tactician/manager he is made out to be. have you also noticed that the calm demeanor on the sideline is showing signs of waning. Plus the fact that while he used to be on his own he is now constantly surrounded by tony donnellly and others.

Probably the same 'rift' that was talked about in 2008

What rift was that Ziggy? I never heard mention of a rift in '08... it was all about the 'critics.'

I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

nothingbettertobeat

its not fiction.
i think the team isnt as close a unit as it used to be alot of players havent agreed with selections in some of the games. there has been rifts with colm mccullugh and Sean Cavanagh to name a few this year and there is more than that which hasnt been highlighted in the press.
Both players have yes agreed to continue playing but theres no love lost between them and the manager its strictly business.
The january sat nights of croker and televised winter games/springs games be over as we always got television coverage due to our success in recent years but when we go down to the division below we will come into the same bracket of so many teams before us as has beens.
