I'm sure as a "liberal" living in Deep Red Texas, Puckoon is driven absolutely insane by the flat out fvckery he witnesses on a daily basis

As a "conservative" living in Massachusetts I deal with the other side of the same coin

My question for Puckoon and J70 and others where was there outrage when child rapists and murderers were released into their communities under sanctuary policies?

They are justifiably outraged now with what's happening with ICE, but when their side did something equally as outrageous....what did we hear?

Crickets!

Horseshit.

I've told you multiple times over the years that I think illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes should be deported immediately after completion of their sentences.

And I've said several times in the past few days that I'm fully in favour of ICE going after those kind of people.

And just so there's zero misunderstanding, at the same time I support so-called sanctuary city policies that encourage engagement with law enforcement and the judicial system by leaving immigration status out of the equation when reporting crimes or serving as a witness or giving a statement.

You are mentally deranged

They support and vote for politicians who have declared their cities and states "sanctuaries"

Sanctuary cities and states release child rapists and murderers to the community-FACT-rather than hand them over to ICE for deportation

" Avila was arraigned in Lawrence District Court on December 18, 2020, for over 20 offenses, including indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, rape of a child with force, and aggravated statutory rape of a child. Later that day, ICE Boston lodged an immigration detainer with the Lawrence Police Department against Avila, but the Lawrence District Court refused to honor the detainer. Avila was released from custody on bail on March 17, 2021"

So was he convicted or not?

Fair enough but you still vote for and support the people who let murderers and child rapists back into the community

How is that any different than people disagreeing with what ICE is doing yet would still vote for Trump based on his other policies?

They're released back into the community where ICE is free to arrest and deport them even if they haven't gone to the bother of getting a judicial order.

Plus, what about all the "legal" murderers and rapists who get out? Are they not a threat if the illegal ones are? Are they treated more severely than illegals?

You told us yesterday that the vast, vast majority of Trump supporters support what ICE is doing. Unless they've been asleep (or maybe get all their news from Fox), they're well aware of the tactics ICE are using and the people they're targeting.

For four years?

I find that hard to believe. He was arrested by ICE this year.

An Obama-appointed judge in Michigan has come under fire from the Trump administration and conservatives on social media for sparing an illegal immigrant who raped a disabled woman from another two years in prison and openly praising him.

Edys Renan Membreno Diaz, a Honduran national who entered the United States at least seven separate times, was convicted for raping and sodomizing a woman suffering from cerebral palsy and cognitive delays in the laundry room of her apartment building. He was sentenced in 2022.

Did you actually read it?

He wasn't spared the two years on the rape. It was on the immigration offense.
