Imagine a player getting slower as he gets older

Are they not supposed to gain a little wisdom as well?
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

Quote from: Denn Forever on September 18, 2025, 11:41:11 AMTook along time.  Left back area is a concern as they attacked that area relentlessly when they saw Robinson wasn't at the races.  I thought he used to be quicker?

Didn't we all!

Also African Nations Cup is an issue. Dec-mid January,  no salah for a crucial period.

This gets brought up every AFCON and the results are usually grand.
Haven't said that we have never won the league when he's been away at AFCON  :o

On Wirtz, there was a 15 or 20 minute spell where he went out to the left wing ( once Gakpo went off) .
I think he performed better out there, plus the overall balance of the side seemed much more stable and controlled

I'd like to see a bit more of that. He has the silky skills for sure. Gakpo is limited on that left hand side, cuts in 100% of the time. Never hits the byline with a cross. He is predictable Gakpo.
Wirtz gave them a lot more to think about.

As a non Liverpool fan it pains me to say this but I think he will be a belter of a player.

The issue isn't the period when he's away - the results are fine.  The problem is when he's back - his form and fitness have previously dropped off badly the rest of the season.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Salah's form at the end of most seasons - drops - AFCON or not.

AFCON being every second year is a bit of a joke also.

That plus the fact its smack bang in the middle of the European season.

A good chance for the pool to boost their score difference.  Sky like to big game but not even a rivalry anymore when Everton just sit down. Tranmere would provide more a threat than them.

statto

Gravenberch playing some stuff. Kerkez having his best game to date.

laoislad

Nordie Tayto is shite

gawa316

The Ev played pretty well but Liverpool did the damage in the first 30 mins.

Gravenberch is just a different gravy

quit yo jibbajabba
