£17 million, go away and sh!te!!
not a mission he'll go for that, liverpool would need to be getting twice that or cash plus player(s) to even consider it.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Apparently Liverpool have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for Arbeloa - 5 million.

1124 BST:Barcelona are set to bid £17m for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano after Barca's technical director received permission from Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez to make an offer.

Who will Liverpool have for midfield if Mascherano and Alonso are sold? Gerrard back to midfield and buy a striker to partner Torres?

Lucas  :D

The same Lucas that helped give United a lesson at Old Trafford

Lucas like Arbeloa is average, hardly first team players for a top four side.

Don't rate him and i think he won't be able to replace Mascherano or alonso in the long term, if either do leave
