Car Problems!!

I usually check oil level , coolant,  fluids etc every week or two.

Last few weeks I've had to top up the coolant a couple of  times,  something which I've  rarely had to do in the past.

At the same time, the  warm air  heater in car isn't what it  should be either.  It's not very warm , as it normally is, even after the car is driven a long way.

Would the two be connected?

No leaks under  the car, so I'm assuming that's not the issue.

Any thoughts?

Definately a leak in radiator. How long before you re-fill it?

I had same problem. Had to keep topping it up but then I had to top it up more often and then it got to point where I was carrying big bottles of water in boot.

I even put rad. leak stuff in as it's supposed to plug any small hole but I had a bigger problem as it was some sort of connection to rad. But you could try and get a can of that stuff first in a car spares shop and see does it work?

It's linked to heating system in car also. My car had no warm air either.

If the can of repair stuff doesn't work, get it checked out at a mechanic's asap.

Think it was  2 weeks ago, it was just above the minimum level mark , so  I topped  it up with coolant to the maximum level mark. Then  it was  the same  yesterday.

Thought it strange it was  down that low  again, as  I rarely had to  put any in  previously. Noticed the blowers  not getting  very warm for the last fortnight  or so.  So assumed there was a connection.

As I said , there's no visible leakage under car  or around engine .

Brought it to my mechanic  a couple days before Christmas. He had a quick look. Said there were no obvious leaks underneath or around engine.

He said there could be a small  leak somewhere but was ok to drive (haven't done a lot around Christmas though anyway), just keep an eye on coolant levels and  for obvious leaks, and usually if something was  drastically wrong , there would be an awful stench  noticeable inside the car, which isn't the case.

Haven't noticed coolant levels  go down since, and I'm checking it  everyday.

Have  to check it in next  week for him to get a closer look. Will  post up the outcome. Might be useful for others

2020 Skoda Karoq wiper fluid not coming out of either front or rear wipers. Reservoir is full and no obvious blockage or leaks. Wiper fluid pump doesn't have a dedicated fuse and no other electrical problems. Pump most likely knackered?

Is there a noise when you try the washers? The tank could be blocked. The washer fluids can settle and solidify blocking the line up if everything else is working. Pump should be ok at that age

Pretty sure no pump noise but hard to tell because it takes a second or two to kick in and then I have the wipers scraping over dry windows. Have managed to get a look at it and it "looks" ok, no signs of blockage around the pump or anything in terms of gunk. It's getting and rear washer and fact I can't find dedicated fuse is annoying me.

I had spmething similar on a toyota Celica before. I put warm water into it . Not boiling. And kept the sprayer on. The warm water cleared the soap blockage. May noy be yiur issue but worth a try i suppose.

I'd be very surprised if it's a blockage tbh, as it feeds front and rear windscreen as well as headlights but everything is worth a try I guess.

I can access it with the usual DIY tools and the bog standard jack but fitting a whole new pump is a pain the arse if it's just a fuse that I can't figure out 

EDIT: Hmmm, Gemini suggesting I've made a balls of things and it's two different pumps, one for the wipers and one for the headlights.
