Where you getting that?  ;D
That's what it cost me when some clown scraped up the side of me 3 years ago

That just labour? You be lucky to buy the pain for that these days
All in, though the scratches maybe weren't that deep.

You wouldn't get it for £100 but it also shouldn't be near 5 figures. Taylor's right in his range imo.

I def dont want to pay for it out of my own pocket as the damage had zero to do with me.

Similarly I dont want to go through the insuranace as would end up even more out of pocket with the excess and future premium rises.

Picking daughter up at Dublin airport tonight, would normally tell to get the bus but her wee mammy has missed her these past 3 months!

Anyways can you just like Belfast pull in pay 3 quid and wait for 10 minutes and get out?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

The short term car park is €3 for the first hour. Just check the arrival information so that you go there at the actual arrival time if the flight is delayed.

MR2 - Time its just right and you won't have to pay at all. Pull up outside the departures and get her to walk and meet you. I never pay when collecting anyone from Dublin Airport.

What terminal? If T1 I think you can still just tell her to go upstairs to departures after she gets out and you can pick her up there without paying.

It's not far to walk up to T1!

I usually wait in the McDonalds car park on the way out of the airport then lift whoever it is at the set down point in T1.

Quote from: john mcgill on May 25, 2010, 06:52:32 AMParking is expensive at Belfast City Airport.  Last week I  had to pick up a friend from there.  I arrived at 7.20am and the fee for two hours was £6.50.  His flight arrived at 8.20am and I met him 10 mins later.  I paid the fee and as we were leaving the terminal we met a friend and stood talking for 10 mins.  At the barrier the machine asked me for another £2.  I pressed the intercom and was told I had to pay it as I had taken more than 10 mins to get to the car.  A rip off!

Why would you arrive an hour early when you have up to the second flight arrival info?

For Cork or Shannon Airport for picking someone up, I keep track of the flight online. I leave on time to coincide with it's arrival, then in the airport I wait in a slipway with the other cute hoors, 5-10 minutes after the 'Baggage delivered' notice goes up, I drive right up outside the arrivals section, collect the passenger and on my way with no parking fee😎

Up to the second flight  info mightn't have been as advanced back  in 2010, when  the question was asked  ;)

Ahh sorry, didn't realise you had written the initial post. Thought you had just put up a guesstimate, and I would have said around the same.

Don't mind me...
