Surprised this hasn't been mentioned:

A young goalkeeper hanged himself after his fiancée left him for his team mate - who is John Terry's brother.
Dale Roberts killed himself after partner Lindsay Cowen had an affair with his Rushden and Diamond team mate Paul Terry.

Lindsay, 25, left Roberts this summer after Terry bedded her while staying at the couple's home one night.

That really should be a 'hung' in there.

No disrespect to the man though, just amending grammatical errors.

No it shouldn't. If you're going to correct grammatical errors, ensure that you know your bleedin' errors!  :D

RIP that young lad.
Carlsberg don't do Gombeenocracies, but by jaysus if they did...

It's hanged, yes. I thought this was a fairly well known one, no?

When it was reported (and i appreciate that it was reported in the Daily Mail) that this poor lad hanged himself because his woman slept with Paul Terry. There isnt one person on this board who wouldnt have thought to themselves something along the lines of the title of this thread. Thats human nature and unfortunately Terry's past misdemeanours have resulted in people holding this opinion of him. I dont find it strange that people have made the link at all. Everyone must have, even fleetingly, thought the same thing.

It is a very tragic story though!
That was never a square ball!!

I blame JT, if he wasn't such an awful child his parents wouldn't have felt the need to have another baby, his brother wouldn't have been born, and this poor man's wife would never have had an affair.

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

If you read the whole report it is clear there was more than the affair to Dale Roberts' problems.  It also reveals an interesting approach to curing depression from Justin Edinburgh!

Quite timely given the Freddie Flintoff documentary that was on last night

He played a right feckin stormer, didn't he? Asshole.

All very sad but the ignorance displayed by Edinburgh just highlights how poorly mental health issues are dealt with in the work environment.
