Capello should've taken a punt on Hargreaves. Can't have been any worse than Barry or Carrick, even on one leg. From a United point of view, I'm delighted he didn't.

It would not have worked to change it at the last minute.
A national team has to built up over a qual period especially one as dysfunctional that England were after the last euro qualifiers. And after Qual is achieved, consolidate everything learned for the Finals.
France for example did not consolidate but their next manager should have no real problems with rebuilding that team for the Euros.

Nice goal for my struggling fantasy team, but ffs show Robben outside onto his weaker right foot and make him cross the ball, don't let him cut inside on to his left foot.

Slovakia would have had to score that first golden chance in the 2nd half, instead they just woke the Dutch up.
Strange Dutch team, unlike any others at a Finals. They are so far, understated in their approach, composed and compact. Looks like a work in progress, only in the 20 minutes or so, did they really close down the Slovakians higher up the pitch.

The england defeat could give us the dream team, they're all on the radio talking about giving the job to Arry, that really would be a fantastic f**king result, who could they blame then?  I really really hope Capello goes and he gets the job, a chance to finally expose him for the drivel talking idiot he is.

One commentator in talksport said that the reason english players need a different approach to your continentals is that they're not as intelligent.
