I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is......

Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point.

This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act.  He makes some very interesting points...

Someone finally said it..  How many are actually paying attention to this?  There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc..

And then there are just Americans.  You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.  You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... and that's OK.

But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.

You have Black History Month.  You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Yom Hashoah.  You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

You have the NAACP.  You have BET... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists..  If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.  Wonder who pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .  Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.  If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it.  But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists..

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud.... But you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

There is nothing improper about this e-mail..  Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on..  I sadly don't think many will.  That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country.  We won't stand up for ourselves!

he's got a point, but I think many people like me know the western world has this senario but cant be bothered dealing with it as there is not much to gain from it.

Of course he has a point, I remember the argument cropping up again about the MOBOs recently, and didn't Bernard Hopkins racially slur Joe Calzaghe when they fought, yet nothing was said about it but if Joe had came out with the opposite, he would have been hung out to dry.

He has a point, but I think he's coming at it from the wrong direction. The last thing the world needs a white pride movement. What we need is no black/hispanic/arab etc. pride movements.

We all know how white pride manifests itself - in the flaunting of neo-nazi type ideology. It's the standard now, to the extent that it would be impossible and unthinkable to start a movement to promote the positive aspects of white culture, in the same way as other races seem able to promote their particular cultures. It would be overwhelmed by negative connotations.

On the other hand, the racial minority groups cannot credibly continue to campaign against being differentiated by race while actively differentiating themselves by race. So my proposal (taking it in the American context) is to outlaw all race-based campaigning groups. A bit like the philosophy behind the flags and emblems legislation in the North. It's a clear manifestation of racism, so it should be illegal. That way, officially, there is only one category of American - an American. Of course, it's politically impossible - probably for a few generations.

There are many things here. I live in the northern part of Ireland and it's bad too. You'd be getting 'black basterds' this and 'huns' that and even though it's not either of those tribes they're talking to. So what is happening here is that people are pretending the ones they are shouting at belong to those groups in order to justify their shouting at them. It is like approaching a man who's bigger than you and pretending he's a child so maybe telling him to pick up litter. In that case you are visualising the big man as a wee boy in order to justify it.

What I mean is that people in this country justify their evil thoughts by pretending the people they are angry with are black or a hun. That makes it ok in their eyes and they keep on doing it.

Ireland is a terrible place for this and even for gays. You would get boys fighting in the niteclubs because one calls another 'you're gay' maybe just because he's drinking a soft drink instead of a hard one. He's acused of being gay because he won't take the hard one and that's insulting to the straight fellow because it questions his bravery and also insulting to gays in that they only take soft ones.

It's all a big muddle and it's geting worse.

as it has gone a bit mad in the usa - they now are afraid to call it Christmas, and instead refer to it as 'holiday' (holiday 2009 just past).
so the diff races and cultures are influencing the neutralisation of things over there, but at the same time these ethnic cultures are retaining their own holidays (chinese new year, passover etc etc I dont know the half of them).

Will this all lead up to the UN eventually calling the shots and outlawing all religions, non inclusive days/holidays/names in the various countries?
Right now various arab countries do not permit christian symbols, ceremonies, documentation etc but are more than willing to have islamic  symbols ceremonies and documentation in historically christian countries.
I suppose I want parity, but I also think that the yanks are going OTT as usual. a bit of common sense should prevail - but as we know this doesnt happen easily in the world, there will have to be some global body to adjudicate and dictate. Either the UN or the parades commission could be promoted as they are doing nothing these days !!
