No. Wouldn't think so.

Cuala in hurling final next week-end.

Another Tipperary championship medal for the Mc Grath brothers in football.
A great club.

Surprised  Easkey beat in Sligo. Had a great run this past few years. Should have won the Junior All-Ireland earlier this year in Croke Park. Pipped by Cork lads by a point or two iirc.

Good to see LLG's winning in Westmeath. Big win for the parish!

No doubt Mr Umbrella  will claim credit for St Brigid's winning the Antrim title

Fermanagh senior championship will be an interesting one with erne gaels belleek bidding to make it 3 in a row for thmeselves. I cant see derrygonnelly putting up too much of a fight. Any verdicts?

Clonduff, st Brigids and now edendork more or less newcomers to ulster. Be wide open this year. You would imagine scotstown favourites.

Schkite

Would have had Scotstown favourites for Ulster before a ball was kicked, but especially so at this stage. After this group getting over that hurdle last year and finally winning the provincial title, I'd imagine they'll go into this campaign with more confidence and without that complex they likely had after slipping up a few times previously. Will take an excellent all round performance and/or Scotstown being off the boil for another team to beat them in Ulster imo

Would agree. A good few new winners/returning winners from years away and this means they are not necessarily focused on Ulster. It's generally better set up for the experienced teams to push through,  although I'd say the Derry champions will be strong on that side of the group and Letterkenny can pull together.

Other side you've 2 new winners,  1 winner who haven't won in years and then ourselves and Gowna who haven't won it in 2-3 years but have some recent experience. Would fancy Clonduff to beat Edendork,  purely on the basis of the short turnaround. Either team will beat St Bridget's id say. Not much between us and Gowna and the home advantage might tip it their way and I think they will push on and make the final setting up an el Classico with Scotstown.

Yeah, definately in Ulster, Scotstown's to lose I think. Good team and plenty of warriors at this stage. Plus they have Beggan. Huge advantage there before a ball is thrown in.

As BCB1 mentioned above, it nearly takes a team to be in a provincial a few times before they can push on. Especially in November and December.

Captain Obvious

Edendork will be hard bet in Ulster with Con Kilpatrick, Niall Morgan and Darren McCurry etc in their ranks.

On Errigal Ciaran Ruairi Canavan only able to play half the game and Darragh Canavan missed out. A concern for club and county with how injury prone those brothers are?

The Clonduff game next weekend be tough for a team who won their first even senior championship to be right after celebrating for next week.

Their camogs were playing in the ulster junior today. You have to feel sorry for them playing the day after the biggest day in their club's history.

Interesting read here from Mickey Ned's point of view regarding the club championship format in Kerry. By RTÉ.

This one and the Dublin final last week hugely one sided. Unfortunate for tg4 to pick the games like this.
