Given Carey would be unable to compete in Ulster due to winning it in 2024, Cushendun should give Carey the intermediate

Caught the second half of the Cushendall v Loughgiel game on Antrim TV.

The Dall looked to be the better all-round team, but still needed a wee bit of luck with that goal that hit the 3G surface and didn't bounce up at all and skidded under the keepers hurl.

The pitch looked heavy with pretty long grass, was that the reality or just by TV picture?

Are Dunloy favourites?

The weekend went pretty much as expected

Junior B seemed 50 50 before throw in, turned out a hammering

Sarsfields turned it on when matterred

Creggan and Glenarm will be very disappointed not making a final

Glenarfiffe will be gutted in their performance. Played none. Dunloy look sharp

Cushendall dug it out yet again. The ground is getting heavy past 2/3 weeks, will suit them more going into a final. Bradley back could be massive

imtommygunn

I would have thought dunloy favourites. Couldn't see them being beat.

Glenariff after the st John's win will be disappointed with that. It's disappointing for a neutral as the hope would have been there would be another team getting to that standard but that's a massive jump now.

MalluskMan

Dunloy will start as favourites, totally dismantled Glenariffe who will rue their striking accuracy again. Wouldn't have changed the outcome, but better on the eye.
Cushendall won't let Dunloy run a train over them like that in the final and another couple of weeks of inclement weather will only suit Cushendall.
However, Dunloy seem to have the bit between their teeth for the hurling this year, they will prevail by 7!
Ballycastle pitch was abysmal, weather all week won't have helped. If county final is there, they'd need to get the mower out!

Will the senior hurling final be back in Ballycastle?

AllStar15

They should stick the minor final on beforehand, what a day that would be for the two clubs

NorthAntrimSaff

That would be too much like common sense

Cushendall have a minor starting for the Senior team so not possible

Ballycastle pitch will be bad enough without playing a game beforehand

Saffrongael

Loughgiel just don't seem setup for an attritional battle, thought they were very disappointing when it mattered yesterday
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Double Header not possible.

Hopefully the mower gets a run out if it is in Ballycastle.

Deerstalker

Minor final deserves its own stand alone fixture, and gets a good crowd on its own merits.

NorthAntrimSaff

Minor final is in Ballymena at 12 this sunday

Think the days of the Minor and Senior double header are gone for now anyway.

Any venues yet, genuinely don't see how Ballycastle could host again in that condition.

Loughgiel and Corrigan both out this year I'd say.
