I take your point glen man which is fair.

However I still think the Co board wouldn't lose money if they offered a season ticket I think you would catch the punter who is buying 5 or 6 matches. Get more from them then they are happy they have all available if they feel like watching.

There would not be many buying 10 games plus in my opinion.

Also there would be argument to be made that they shouldn't be seen to be screwing money out of people to watch a sport with a socialist outlook and an amateur ethos.

I do agree. Some sort of package for the TV is the obvious missing piece of the puzzle.

Entry season ticket - £150, roughly £3 per game for all or £6 if you only attend half the games. Good value.

Individual entry tickets - starting at £11/13. I think these are frozen from last year, and if you only attend a small selection of games, it's not too bad. Children are free.

Individual streaming - £1 more than the gate price. Think this was set several years ago and seems fair to encourage in-person attendance. It probably hasn't kept pace with how many games people now expect to watch (all games rather than just their own club).

However, I did make the point before. We all expect the best for our county teams - seniors to be playing in June/July, Minor & u20 trophies etc etc. That all costs money and the championship is really the only reliable income stream every county has.

If we want to cut the price of championship tickets, then maybe a discussion about cutting county team expenditure is needed - but I can imagine how that would go.

The balance sheet at convention each year only shows a very small profit which I imagine is quickly swallowed up by gear, injuries, surgeries, physios, travel expenses, meals & nutrition, buses, hotels etc etc.

I don't think they should cut prices just offer a season pass for tv.

Armagh spent €1.5m versus Tyrone €1.3m in 2025 season but they have a season pass for online games.

I honestly don't think the county board would take a hit in this instance and it would be good PR for a county that seems to get bad PR in regards these things. E.g. mcconnells comments regarding the price of a loaf.

I have heard the fire stick is making somewhat of a sparse breakthrough if it comes back full do they keep putting resource into cracking it? Or get ahead of it and get a season pass that is reliable and supporters buy into?

I think a season pass for tv is a win win for Co Board and Supporters.

Yes us young whippersnappers love our Açai bowls & flat whites, you're so right, but you're still paying the same price for the ticket, county board bunch of highway bandits and it affects us all is the point the board is trying to get across.  :P

DROMORERAM123

is this a martin lewis money discussion board or a tyrone county discussion board?

Anyone gonna tell me how to get a favourable rate on my mortgage or will yous catch yourselves on and talk about football? Never heard dung like it

Fair play to Fintona to steal it at the end, however their performance leaves me thinking they mightn go as far in Ulster/AI as once thought against stronger junior teams. As previously mentioned they do seem to be leaky at the back however just an off day for Watson, usually a very good gk. Still think they will survive D2 next year.

Rock bound to snatch it if McGeary is injured and Burns suspended?

Dromore Ram + Garvaghy Man, the prices of games are hardly irrelevant topics, directly related to Tyrone CLUB discussion as were being fleeced by a county board who have already done their best to make a mess of things this year with the league structure.

There's men on here talking about Acai bowls mate

After what felt like a month since our last game, I wanted to finally put into words how I feel about this year's campaign. The players gave us incredible belief, and for long stretches it genuinely felt like this was our year. Failing to beat Edendork has left us wondering whether, no matter how good a team is, sometimes it takes something extra.

Edendork played us off the pitch. It felt like Donaghmore were brought right back down to earth — humbled, almost. In the days after, talking to supporters, the reaction was nearly congratulatory: "Edendork were brilliant," "Edendork just had one of those nights." But it ignored the elephant in the room: we should have beaten them, regardless.

There's this sense that we're privileged just to be there, and in my opinion, not winning the championship will haunt this group of players for the rest of their lives. From where I stand, we lay down and got walked over. The same lads who give everything all year bowed out on the biggest stage the club has had in decades — maybe the biggest chance in 50 or 60 years to win a senior championship.

It leaves me with real concern about whether this group will get another chance in the next three years. You need luck to get a decent draw, and in Tyrone you don't get that every season — maybe once in five years you get half a chance at reaching a semi-final, and more often than not the team expected to win doesn't.

This one was left behind. And now the chase for a second O'Neill Cup begins again in a few months, with hope, pride, and confidence. But they'll need to be better, and they'll need a new perspective — to realise the position they're in, and to make the absolute most of it.

Looking ahead to the game this weekend, I think it would be valuable for our players to go together to Healy Park, watch the match as a group, and really take in the atmosphere. Seeing the occasion up close could help them visualise what it means to reach a final and give them a better sense of the stage they're aiming for.

Good luck to both teams this weekend.

Edendork winning it would be Tyrone Championship in a nut shell.

Proud to be part of this competition, proud to call Donaghmore home, and most importantly proud to be a Tyrone man.
I have always depended on the kindness of strangers. All Ireland Club - 2030.

Get warmed up

Stewartstown have to be kicking themselves after the weekend, played so well for vast majority of the game only to be sucker punched at the end. McCauley Quinn was brilliant, the injury he got in last few minutes surely affected them as he was dictating the game for them up to that point. I think that Fintona have the ability to go and do well in ulster, but they would need to sort out the defense, and they can't be having that sort of conversion rate in a big game again or they will be gone.

Rock will fancy their chances in the replay, no Mc Geary or burns will surely give them the edge. That being said they really should have got over the line the first day but couldn't get that final score.

Why did Caolan Donnelly not start for Fintona? Strange

Think Rock will win the replay by 6 points+.
