I think both of their goal scorers v Rossa are minors. Doherty and Duffin.

two excellent prospects, Doherty still playing his hurling with the Balobas and invited into both Antrim hurling and football u20 squads. Tom Duffin will be playing irish league going forward, as will young Burns from ports minors, may curtail their gaa action a bit going forward

Would ye whist

I am sure Rossa are delighted that a St Johns man is reffing their county final

A few eyebrows raised alright but Collie is a good referee and deserves a final. He'll not be the winning or losing of it.
Anyway, he's a Tierney, and they're Rossa people really.

Gearoid gets his day in the sun as Clonduff win Down championship. Credit where its due. Big achievement.

They played very well. A great servant to the saffrons.

Some performance today from Portglenone minors, that's easily one of them best minor teams I have ever seen, quality across every line of the team; and some very big lads.

Totally agree, strongest club minor team of recent years i can remember, can't see st pauls  getting close to them in final. Strange though that Portglenone have entered the u21 B championship though , cant figure that with a fair number of u21 and minors in their senior squad this season

PólAointroim

Moneyglass will do well to get near them in the final considering St Pauls beat them yesterday.

ffs was at Musgrave watching the game and lad beside said Mglass won so just took that as correct, still can't see anyone getting neat Ports

bannside

The annual Paul McKeever under 12 competition we host always attracts top clubs from all over the province. It is rarely won by an Antrim club...but was won in style by a neighbouring (Antrim) club with a proper handful of very promising players.

Was nip and tuck for 45/50 minutes
Lead kept changing hands, st Paul's went in at ht 1 up
MG got first score of the second half, a goal to put them 2 up
Went level then st Paul's nailed a couple of 2pters, one of them a great score from out near the sideline, and just closed the game out.
Winners of this were always going into final big underdogs.

Was it Rasharkin Bannside? Fair play to them if so, beat a fair few big clubs

Ports be quietly fancying their chances of a rattle at Ulster based on that result at weekend

bannside

It was Rasharkin. They beat an excellent Ardboe team in the final.

Some great work going on down the road...
