Rashford is a very limited footballer, if he's not scoring he's not really contributing. Time and time again on Sunday he had shot blocked, I wouldn't have him near the club and I expected a lot more in terms of quality since he returned.

Stats don't make for great reading but we're joined by City in some of those stats but they have 10 more points then us. We don't really pass the eye test, we may have a lot of shots but don't think we've missed to many easy chances in those league games. There was one really good chance missed against City & Fulham and can't recall too many missed against Hull or Everton.

Carrick needs a decent October otherwise he's out the door, even with its limitations and with European football that squad is good enough to finish in the CL spots.

I'm all for giving Carrick a chance but results and performances have been awful, complete contrary to what we saw last season.

Utd are getting hammered!! Any other team they'd be 4 or 5 nil down

That goal was coming in fairness.

Cunny Funt

1st half considering the mediocre level of opposition that had to be among the worst performances any Man United team ever produced with players walking around the pitch and showed zero work rate.

Better 2nd half (or so it appeared) and took the lead with a well worked goal on 73 minutes then Spurs got a man sent off 5 minutes later which would be curtains for them against most other teams but not this group of United players who are unable to keep clean sheets or beat ten men

Next up a trip to Spain and will be a surprise if Atlético Madrid don't win by at least 3 goal margin on Tuesday.

Surprised Shaw wasn't sent off as well.. ran after him and shoved him in chest with 2 hands

Presume you mean "wasn't" Yeah, it was either a yellow for both or a red for both.
Spurs will feel they dropped 2 points there. Man United probably happy to get a point.

Poor that you can't beat a winless Tottenham at home when leading 1-0 and having the man advantage for the final quarter of the match.

Next three matches are all tough away games will Carrick be still manager by the end of them?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I've backed Liverpool at home against a team already relegated at 2/1! Free one

It was actually the fact that City paid Robert Mancini a bit more on the side 15 years ago that caused United to concede late on against 10 men today

I hope for the sake of your wallet that it was only a one-pound bet.

Fiver ffs! In fairness it was both teams to score Liverpool win over 2 goals.. two new managers

Saturday was bad. There are problems and I had hoped progress in those areas would have been made over the long international break but it didn't appear much was.

On top of some structural things some players are simply not performing and that's the biggest problem I see. Yoro was miles better than Dalot but he is limited in attack where Dalot can be useful. Dalot a liability defensively though. Shaw is a complete mess. Martinez will get blamed for the goal but he was only that deep because Shaw was. He's absolutely terrible and has nobody challenging him.

We need to talk about Bruno. He was abject again on Saturday. I hear talk of an injury he is playing through. If that is true he shouldn't have gone on international duty. I'd love to see stats on how many balls he gave away Saturday. I appreciate you have to take the rough with the smooth with a player who is trying to create but some of the basic stuff he is getting wrong is really, really worrying.

When you have a turnover machine in the team then it exposes Tielemans. He's a good ball player but he's not quick enough or strong enough to clean up sudden turnovers. Despite Mainoo's best efforts United were totally overrun in midfield.

On the positives (I'm an eternal optimist) - Amad being back allowed Mbuemo go through the middle and he's possibly the best option for that and definitely is with Sesko out. I thought Cunha was a lot better in his favourite position. Baleba looked better than I hoped when he can on. His physical presence and energy is badly needed in this team.

Next few weeks are going to be difficult. I hope Baleba brings that stability but honestly think Fernandes needs to be dropped. It's him or Tielemans - not both. Need to stop conceding easy chances and goals. Sorting the midfield will help a lot with that but I'd go with Mazraoui and Yoro as full backs for now becasue the team has to stop leaking goals.

Bruno was abysmal, lets not cut it any other way, played none and was missing the whole game, the lack of depth when injuries hit the team is shocking, but that still doesn't make up for the fact that Spurs, totally outplayed Utd for all of that game, had Utd played City or Arsenal they would have 6 down at HT
