What can be done though? Can hardly start banning young supporters from games or searching everyone that comes in
An education piece done by the clubs. With a view that the club is punished with a fine if breached. That will motivate the club to try and educate the youth, that it's not cool, funny or edgy to be at that sh!te. I've noticed it happening in more and more games this year. Chatting multiple neutral fans who commented on how not family friendly the games were. I think it's something that needs addressed.
I think theres no harm in it if its kept to behind the goals, out of the road and the w@nker etc chants are kept out of it.But yes the flares in the main stand are a disgrace, and the Lough ones are particularly bad for it, with Ronan O Niell getting a bad touch in the last round, no place for it in our game, its not soccer.Keep it supportive and the flares out of the main stands and off the pitch.
Thats the problem though it doesnt stay in the stand the smoke and smells gets blown across the pitch and everywhere
Can hear the lough supporters as well cheering when the other team kicks a wide, dont think there is any room in our sport for that as it is just unsportmanlike as the GAA is all about give respect get respect. However it is not just them and feel like oit has creeped into quite a few supporters the last couple of years

Loughmacrory fans are still giddy and getting to terms with being a part of big games. We'll only have to put up with it for a few more years

Well deserved or......?

Senior Championship - Paul Gallagher (Castlederg)
Intermediate Championship - Cahel Bell (Killeeshil)
Junior Championship - Niall Conlan (Moortown)

Surprised Eanatta overlooked to be honest, thought he did alright in his last game,

Cathal Bell not a great ref imo, don't rate him at all in any game I've seen him officiate

Absolutely agree. Pain in the hole going to games and not being able to see half the pitch cause some young lads are beside you and their parents don't give a shit

I think Loughmacrory will be around for a while yet.  All of their underage teams competing in Div 1.  If your from Carrickmore I'd suggest you should be asking why your team just threw in the towel against what is an average Donaghmore team.  17 points is disgraceful and embarrassing

The county board should introduce a sanction for flares. Anyone found responsible will have to watch ALL Coalisland Fianna's matches for a whole season  ;D  ;D

No issue behind goals or before game but when you have players & MGMT inhaling the finest chinese particulate matter then its no longer funny.

Errigal seem to have gotten a bit nastier, they're getting in the opposition's faces constantly now. Not a bad thing for winning games.

Loughmacrory had a good enough year as defending champions, with a kinder draw might have gotten back to the final that's not bad going. Will be there or there abouts the next few years you'd think.

Errigal have played the long game well this year, I probably put too much stock in league performance / number of injuries they were supposed to have had as they didn't look up to much. Different prospect entirely now

Exactly, having the likes of Oguz and R Canavan on bench fully fit or not a scary proposition

Both teams were quite dirty yesterday, I'd say thats why Sean Hurson let it go quite a bit,
Could be the last wee bit Errigal need to win Ulster & Tyrone, can't see them getting beat against many other teams in the provincals. Scotstown plowing on well, as is Burren and Crossmaglen, but Errigal definitely have the arsenal to beat any of these teams,
Good luck to Edendork

Errigal good enough to get back to Croke Park?

Yeah definitely amped up. The breaking ball situations were brutal at times, a great championship game.

Robinson was excellent...big mobile lad.

Mark of respect in a way Errigal setup to frustrate them. They only got 13 scores which is well off their average around 20. Can see Errigal do Ulster but would worry a touch about RC.

I do rate Paul Gallagher in fairness but it is a very big game for him to be getting, thought be better suited for likes of sparky Loughran or Sean devenney

Has McCullagh been back for long and does anyone know if he's 100%? Looking throughout the championship this year in particular there seems to be a lot of key men injured or only half fit. Too much football or what's the story?

UtilityMan

11th v 14th in the final.

Is this maybe the blueprint for teams that looked lethargic after a condensed league? Forgo a few fixtures, rest men and have them firing for the Championship.

Edendork v Errigal Ciaran - Errigal by 7+, really turned the screw the last 3 weeks

Hard to look past this team, going for their 3rd in 5 years. Don't be shocked to see them up Croke Park steps in January. All Ireland is wide open this year.
