Quote from: brokencrossbar1 on October 03, 2026, 08:47:30 AMFall out in paradise. Long time KC for this group John Larkin and McIvor Farrell Solicitors have stopped representing the OO. Heard this yesterday and it's in the Irish News this morning. Apparently there was a stand up row between Larkin and Bryson and Larkin walked. Our BL David probably knows more than me but heard it was over money and how the whole thing is being funded.
someone spill the whole beans :D

The big switch since Weds in language by a lot of elected officials to the phrase of "goading and provoking" smells a lot like getting excuses in early for any trouble and borders on being up their with "what did she expect me to do disrespecting me like that"

They are of course correct that the law has ruled in favour of a March however it was also previously lawful to beat the shit out of kids in school, to discriminate on sex, religion and race grounds, to drink drive, the list goes on.

What's right and what's lawful can be a very different thing.

BBC Radio Ulster and Foyle have won four gold awards at the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) Awards 2026.

The gold winners included The Stephen Nolan Show in the Interactive Speech category and Stephen McCauley in the Specialist Music Programme category.

I wonder where Nolan and Bwyson  will go to celebrate  their award.

Main Street

Could the residents not basically have demanded the police review their decision on the no/very low threat of violence, that it was obviously a gross misreading and patently ignorant interpretation of the current climate and then confront the parade commission with a realistic police analysis.

This is now third story on NI news. Writing on the wall for Jamie.

OO missed an opportunity to come out of this with dignity in tact.

What kind of Christian group is this (Carry the Cross) that tried to parade down Garvaghy Road tomorrow carrying a cross from Drumcree church. Seem like a proxy for Orange Order. The parades commission rerouted them as they should have with OO. One thing is for certain, some right sick twisted basterds in Christianity.

Sportacus

Jamie and Carla looking like a beaten docket here. It has galvanised nationalists and most unionists appear to be somewhere between embarrassed and couldn't be bothered. Hopefully the court case will swing the other way and we can all move on.

As they saying goes, he who stirs the pot gets to lick the shit.

Unfortunately, it seems Loyalists are now blocking roads going into Portadown. Will see some poor person hurt yet.

Stoops not like reps actually being useful or doing something people will appreciate?
I think he's paying the price for continuing with the Laois Manager job despite the SDLP stance on double jobbing
Careful now

More likely that he saw the writing on the wall so was happy to continue with Laois.

Nolan must have some southern ancestry. Nolan is an Irish name but not a northern one.

The Orangemen on Drumcree hill have  attempted to march down  the Garvaghy Road yet again. I think  that's 15 times now

Somebody  needs to explain the situation  clearly to them....
