Quote from: ShutterinbyDayGAAbyNight on September 16, 2026, 07:30:01 PMGenuinely don't understand the fintona glaze. Their in the top 10 teams in Tyrone membership wise, have been lingering in around junior for the past 15+ years bar a short lived stint in intermediate in 2024. That's a seriously impressive level of underachievement

Had a look there and their Junior championship title in 2023 was the first trophy their seniors had won since 1978. There's no doubt they have a lot of potential after winning the G1 Minor league last year and now promotion back to Intermediate but a concern for them going forward in this campaign is that Colton has been well held now by both Urney and Drumragh.

I see how Fintona play as a rob Peter to pay Paul scenario (Pardon the pun). Paul being Mcgillion and the payment being 1 goal and 6 points.
Fair point. Would drumragh not have been better man marking Mcgillion?

I think they did but the poor cub was out of his depth, if drumagh had an eoghan hegarty type of man marker it could of been a different game i think

Junior Draw will be interesting on one side. Think Stewartstown will take care of the Derg with no fuss. I wouldn't be writing off Tattyreagh whatsoever. Stevie Ferguson at the realm, serious operator, and outstanding championship pedigree with Tattyreagh. Will really test a youthful Fintona side.
Still fancy Fintona to win the title , but expect a close battle.

John Warnock

Stop with the Fintona talk for the love of Christ. Please.

As long as there is a scrapyard in Tattyreagh they won't be within 10 points of fintona come the final whistle. As for the Derg, write them off at your peril

Quote from: skeog on September 17, 2026, 02:21:33 AMThe half time draw is always good for the loose change in yout pocket.Another outlay is the various clubs fundraising the 1 for 20 3 for 40 and you say no cash they whip out the visa machine and before you know it your in lol.
Im all for the ticket selling initiative great to see the various clubs around Tyrone at it but think its abit far fetched for Fermanagh clubs such as Derrylin selling at Healy Park!

SHORE4SAM

Load of garbage on this board lately leave the nonsense for the Hatfield:

Edendork V Clonoe - tough call. Dazzler a stones throw away from Oneill park. Dork by 1
Carrickmore V Donaghmore - Carrickmore by 4 - conditions will prevail for the mountain men where the villagers will be caught in the mud
Lough v Omagh -  a lot of people think loughmacrory will be home and dipping their toes back in the lough at half time. Shades of killyman 07 maybe here tho - DRAW
Errigal v Trillick - Pay per view - EC by 3

I recall an Armagh club attempting to sell tickets during a Tyrone club relegation playoff. I'm all for club development draws and will certainly buy one when at my door. But asking me to buy a ticket while I'm watching my club about to get relegated was a big WTF moment.

Capknee

Edendork v Clonoe - Expect a close affair here.  Clonoe an all round better side imo but Edendorks star quality may just see them nick it - Edendork by 1

Carmen v Donaghmore - Carmen have had a decent year in the league however in the games that mattered they couldn't do it.  Hammered by Killyclogher and by their County Champion neighbours who were missing star men.  Donaghmore on the rise and it will come down do Donaghmore have the stones which Carrickmore certainly have - Donaghmore by 1

Loughmacrory v Omagh - Think Loughmacrory will have learnt big lessons from the drawn game v Dungannon.  Think Omagh will give them a game though.  Loughmacrory by 3

Errigal v Trillick -  Errigal looked impressive v Killyclogher although Killyclogher were also poor.  Errigal will want revenge for last year no doubt but Trillick will also be hungry after last year's final - Draw

Had some club (think a Fermanagh one) try to sell me a ticket just as the ball was about to be thrown-in at Pomeroy a couple of weeks ago. At that stage they're just rubbing people up the wrong way.
