Another thing.  On the subject of compilations I mistakenly said that Simple Minds didn't have one.  Instead they had a great live album called Live in the City of Light which was superb & probably better than a 'Greatest Hits' collection.  Depeche Mode did the same with their 101 live album.  Just clarifying something that I think I got wrong.

Some bands are actually better represented by a great live album than a Greatest Hits collection. Live in the City of Light is a cracking example it captures Simple Minds at their absolute peak. And 101 by Depeche Mode is another brilliant shout. Both albums probably give you a better feel for the band than a standard compilation ever could. 👍
