Quote from: quit yo jibbajabba on August 25, 2026, 01:11:12 PMMy favourite is the one with the Fields of Bali in it. Always wanted to go there just from the song alone

Solo Sting - totally agree it is in my top 3.

Although it is Barley.

Desert Rose is another I love

Ah I knew Puck, was hoping for a better bite lol

Though in fairness I wasn't always aware of this fact 🤭

Sorry my man. I am notorious for mishearing lyrics so was delighted I finally had one right.

quit yo jibbajabba

F*CK the Police as the boy says 😜

Get Dolly pushed up the list as a mark of respect 🤭

Jimi Hendrix's song Purple Haze lyric "Excuse me while I kiss the sky has been misheard by some as "Excuse me while I kiss this guy."

Speaking of which Hendrix should be added to the list.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

- Don't stand so close to me (paedo teacher, should be arrested)
- Every breathe you take (stalker, should be arrested)

Sting was once  a teacher. Written based on experience?

I advocate adding  Dolly to the list.

A legend.

No real time for Sting although he did give us Hung My Head which Johnny Cash turned into something decent.

For Dolly

Down From Dover
here you come again
Love is Like a Butterfly

A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself, what would dolly do?

Sting's back  catalogue would be  more plentiful than Kim Wilde  or OCS though, to be fair.

Milltown Row2

I've like 6 or 7 great Dolly songs that I'll play on journeys sometimes

Her playlist was done on way home from a game tonight

She was talented in so many ways, paving the way with the blueprint for so many women (like Taylor Swift) who came afters
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
