Any other club would take thier medicine. Galbally had 3/4 chances to put that game out of reach. Embarrassing going to the CCC

Just saw that. What happened that they're annoyed about?

Where have you seen this?

Teamtalk. I heard it's in relation to a galbally point that was ruled as a trillick free after the referee consulted with the linesman.

Its a bit sad and desperate to be honest. Considering they were 7(?) up with 20mins to go, they should be pointing the finger closer to home.
And the fact that they had chances to win the game too and couldn't take them. Should be laughed out of the room

Think the point that was taken off them because a Galbally player tripped up a Trillick player in the build up that the ref didn't see at first but the linesman called it back

I can understand their frustration at the call, but not sure that any appeal would really stand up. If we start allowing appeals on wrong refereeing decisions we are on a slippery slope.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Sounds like it was the right decision in the end. If it was a trip then it was the correct call not to give it.

Ah seemed like a fairly soft middle of the field incident which the linesman doesn't really need to get involved with.
The line and ref are wired up, so why would you let Galbally attack and score and then go through that... can understand the frustration, however appeal going nowhere probs

The Bearded One

Are we now in a place where every game and refereeing decision is under the scrutiny of post match video analysis?

The point was disallowed due to a communication between the line official and the referee. The referee has made his decision on this basis and the game concludes.

"Referees decision is final".

Now apparently it's not final and Galbally feel they have a case. I am not offering any opinion on whether that is right or wrong, Galbally feel they have a right to appeal so let that work itself out.

But where does this end? A club thinks a player should have been sent off but he wasn't, the ref sees it and issues a yellow. The player in question kicks the winning score but the subsequent video clearly shows he should have been red carded, the ref made a mistake. What now? Appeal it on the grounds the referee made a mistake?
It is what it is. Presumably.

Can't be appealing objective decisions... that's going nowhere. Don't even think the players would have signed off on that one

Would have to say, apart from the ending of the Dungannon v Loughmacrory game, the general standard has been v poor.

I mean oakleafer isn't wrong.
As far as opening rounds in the Tyrone championship go that round was very forgettable.

Only for lough imploding and Dungannon getting four goals that game should have ended lough as convincing winners and overall a let down for competitive football ( can see lough righting this wrong on Thursday)

Clonoe and coalisland was poor by their standards.
Eglish were a complete let down as were KYC and moortown. None of these games worth their admission. Basically Sunday championship was crap.

Carmen and dromore had more of a league feel about it but at least it was close.

Quarter finals should be much better

Get warmed up

Imagine a Kildress man giving Killyclogher abuse. Or maybe you meant to post this from your other account(s)?

Cahair O'Kane has posted the clip Galbally have complained about on social media. They have a right to be annoyed by that. Its a shocking bit of refereeing albeit Conroy has likely been let down there by his linesman. Probably be thrown out but good to see a bad call like that get the spotlight shone on it.

They were. They looked like they mean business and Killyclogher are no mugs. As good as I seen over the weekend. Should have a handy one v Galbally in the next round  ;)
